Tried many Mexican restaurant in town, but Carnival Market is the best place to try Cal-Mex cuisine. Authentic Mexican Taste! Ultimate Tacos with Chorizo is my favorite. Manager offered Heat sauce to try! Super Spicy! I highly recommend their Heat sauce if you like hot sauces! Straight Fire! Bakery is also pretty good! Store carries all sorts of Ethnic Mexican food items!
Food was amazing! Came out fast! There are alot of salsa choices. Everything is authentic. We ordered Barbacoa tacos and the chicken quesadilla as well as tres leche cakes.
I absolutely love it here!! So many different foods. There's even a restaurant inside to sit down and eat your favorite Mexican food. I love their culture and the food was fresh and amazing!

Carnival was the best market for Mexican cuisine I have been to. It has a delicious selection of hot food to go. The produce, bakery, and, seafood real.great selections. Grocery items imported from Mexico. The best was seeing the real lard! Can't get better than that. Tamales to die for. I will be their best customer.
The store was extremely well kept: shelves were immaculate, floors were clean, workers were friendly and helpful, and the selection was top-notch. A few things: - Some of the produce was visibly very moldy, and I'd appreciate if staff would remove those items in the future if they see them! Otherwise this place is amazing and I will be back soon to try their restaurant. - The bakery items were very tasty especially the pumpkin-filled and cream-filled turnovers, but they were dry. Perhaps going in the morning would make for fresher pastries. - While the restaurant looked and smelled like a slice of heaven, I would die for a homemade bean and veggie tamale no cheese. There was no vegan options that I could see.
An absolute gem of a place. Great selection of food and drink and just about anything else you need! Their baked goods are delicious and made in house everyday. Homemade tortilla chips, fresh salsa and a million other things. Even if you're not shopping for food, visit here. You'll find some of the most authentic Hispanic cuisine in the county here! It's delicious and well priced. You can bet I'll be going here again.
Carnival Market has a great selection of any Mexican groceries you might need. All kinds of specialty goods that you won't find at your local supermarket. In addition to having a great selection of groceries, their counter service restaurant has amazing tacos and tamales. Definitely try the pork tamales.
I’ve been coming here for years there food is amazing! I get a burrito or a horchata it’s always good. Staffs nice they work hard and are pleasant to interact with!
Great little Mexican grocery store. They have a lot of imported goods. My review is mostly focusing on the counter style restaurant inside. I got a bunch of steak and barbacoa tacos and my girlfriend got veggie tacos. They have 8 different hot sauce/salsas. My favorite was the hot verde salsa. They are in the top 3 for me and I’ve been to all the places in and around Detroit. Thanks Carnival!
