Really awesome variety of high quality meats. I grew up in San Diego and it's awesome to have a not so little taste of home right here in my new home. The chicken is amazing and they have several types of carne asada and adoboda. Everything grills up deliciously! Friendly employees and clean store. Keep up the great work!
I went there today to buy ingredients to make some Tamales for my daughter’s birthday this weekend. Remind you, I’ve been a customer for about 15+ years and never had I had to experience such bad experience until today. I went there to buy meat, maseca, peppers, coffee and the list goes on. I ended up paying $132 and was wrongly charged for a bottle of Pinole that cost $3.99. A guy who was attending the meat section upon arrival was rude to my mom and I and as I proceeded to go pay he came to me accusing my daughter of breaking that Pinole bottle to which I told him to show me the security cameras and he then got to my daughter’s face telling her “are you going to let me lie”, remind you she is only 9 years old. This man refused to show me the security cameras. I proceeded to pay and saw that they charged me for the bottle and so I asked why was I being charged without proof and how convenient it was for them to accuse my daughter since we were the only customers there. I told him that I was going to pay for it but this was the last time I was going to ever shop at this place. He tried to apologize but at this point it was pointless and I warned him about the bad review that was coming his way and he said he didn’t care and to do whatever. This is store has the worst customer service ever. Even when we arrived and said our greeting they didn’t respond. Needless to say I got charged for the Pinole that I didn’t even take home because they kept it. I do not recommend this store at all. You lost a customer today thanks to your rudeness and lack of customer service skills.
They are always so friendly and super nice when I go in. Very family orientated business. They have THE BEST HABANERO SALSA EVER!!!!
Friendly service, bi lingual English and Spanish. Good selection of authentic Mexican and central American groceries.
I made a purchase of meat, a few snacks, and specifically a tree leches cake. When I tasted the cake, it was sour and tasted expired. I dug a bit in the cake and it was a very dark brown color. I definitely DO NOT suggest buying anything here. They are too expensive and not good quality.
Great little Mexican store and butcher shop! The meat is always very good. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
Love coming here the meat selection is really good an I especially like the seasoning they have on the Carne asada.
Lovely butcher shop having both fresh cut and marinated proteins. I came late on a Saturday and picked up marinated thighs and pork adovado for the grill - both were magnificent. If memory serves, marinated proteins will run between $4 - $5 a pound. I got 4 pounds of mixed proteins for less than $19. Word to the wise, watch yourself in the parking lot. You have visitors at the convention center and also families heading to the Chuck E Cheese
This is a great grocery store they are chuck full of everything you would want.
The employees are kind and helpful, the food is amazing, the store is easy to get to and conveniently located. I get all my best snacks here! Pro tip: try the coconut popsicles!
