Don’t remember the name of the stylist that I took my brother with cerebral palsy today to get his haircut but despite understanding the fact that yes it does require a bit of extra effort to give a haircut to someone with special needs I had already pre booked the appointment and had stated that my brother is in a wheelchair. Don’t know why it came as such a shock to the lady when I walked in with my brother in his wheelchair and while I was there to assist while my brother got his haircut as I have done many times in the past with no problems at all, this stylist just complained about the level of difficulty rather than focusing on the haircut, always insisting I take the head rest off his chair after I explained numerous times I could not and my brother can’t stabilize his head alone. She ended up giving him a messed up choppy haircut that no other stylist has ever given him before not even wanting to waste tap water out of the spray so that I can at least comb his hair on top back stating that that is just how his hair is. Needless to say with this terrible service and 35 dollars later, I will never be going back there again or taking my brother there.

On Monday I had an appointment to get my highlights redone and a cut. As with any time I get highlights done, I didn't touch my hair other than to neaten it for 2 days. I wanted a shoulder length layered Bob and what I ended up with was what looked like a 4 year took kindergarten scissors to her Barbie doll. After washing and drying my hair, with no product added I was reduced to a sobbing mess. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. Stylist: Eva or Eve and NEVER again!
This is a decent place for your hair cut. The staff is very friendly and enough space for parking and many options to shop as well. The products they sell for hair care are very good, but not cheap. Tila and all other staff are very friendly and nice people. They take reservations.
I got another fantastic haircut by Magda. She is always very friendly and knowledgeable. She knows just how to cut my hair even when I ask for a different style.
I will never go back to these people who side swiped me for highlights they charged me 271.00 a trim no blow dry and now my hair is yellow never will I ever refer or step foot back to this placeService: Hair highlighting
Have had Tammy do my hair at Carmen's for a couple of years now and she always does a great job, not matter what I'm having done, cut/blow dry, colour, and/or highlights. She recommends hair products that will be of benefit to me when I ask, and if I'm looking at a product that wouldn't be in my best interest to use she tell me so. Always friendly and great customer service on top of always leaving happy with how my hair turns out ;
I have been getting my hair cut at Carmen's since I was a teen, Mario seems to only get better at his craft. He takes care and is extremely knowledgeable on colours and his products. When I go to Carmen's I literally sit down and we start the colour/ cut process. When he asks me what i would like I tell him to do what he likes. I trust him that much! I never go in asking for a specific cut, these people are the professionals, they would know better than anyone what would look good on my head. Not once in almost 20 years have I left the salon unhappy with the outcome. Mario cuts my husbands hair too and if Mario's not available Magda or Eleni are just as good! Love this place and so does my hair!
Mario has a great team at Carmen's. Staff is very friendly and social. I am particularly impressed with, Eleni. She is very patient, talented and makes great effort so that you leave satisfied. The place was well maintained, neat tidy and organized. Many compliment my hair after each visit! as such I would recommend this place for everyone. Thanks!
I have been going to Carmen's Hair Salon for the past 16 years, and I will continue to go there as long as Magda works there. She is the only person to cut my hair in almost 2 decades. She is amazing, not to mention loyal and punctual. She also does the old school straight razor shaves for facial hair with the hot towel and warm shaving cream. So relaxing and smooth!! You will not be disappointed!!!
