This place has great pallet eggs and carry Sargent Dairy milk that we love as a family. They also have peppercorn bacon they have regular bacon as well, fresh produce, baked goods, homemade jellies, and all sorts of meat pork schnitzel is my fave.nThey also have a walk through and feeding station of the animals which is a big hit with kids.
Would have loved to give 5 stars to this lovely farm where we had a great outing with small kids. It's got some really cool Halloween and fall vibes and decorations. Lots for kids to do. Farm store was bountiful and interesting.nnThe but is the following:n1. I had to use the portapotty. There were only 2 for a large amount of visitors on a weekend day, and they were each 90 and 95% full. I was disgusted.n2. I'm surprised that for a farm that allows interaction with animals, there was no hand sanitizer or water stations for hand washing around the animal enclosure.nnWe parked in the overflow parking. Thanks for creating that lot at your own expense. It would likely be beneficial for you to either hire a lot attendant to manage traffic in the small lot beside the farm or enhance the signage for the large overflow lot. Based on how many people in the small lot were waiting and blocking the lot, as well as those parking on the side of the road, it doesn't seem people are seeing the sign.nnWe would love to come again when the bathroom situation is remedied and we can clean our kids' hands after visiting the animals.
Love this farm. Has a lovely area for the kids to feed the animal and the fresh produce and meat section is a must visit area for adults. The Maple Brown Sugar Pork chops is a must buy. Thick cut and juicy. If you have an air fryer, preheat it to 200C and then put those chops in for 12-14 minutes and voila, you've got succulent pork chops with a thin crispy crust.
A very well maintained farm. Perfect for kids. Staff are super friendly. The new halloween decorations are crazy. Really scary but great idea. Fun time always
Let me tell you about my recent adventure to Carma Farms in Markham—a day filled with pumpkins, pets, and pure fun. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I rolled up to their Pumpkin Fest, but let’s just say I left with my heart full, my camera’s memory card even fuller, and a slight desire to quit everything and become a farmer.nnFirst, let’s talk pumpkins. If you think you’ve seen a pumpkin, think again. Carma Farms has pumpkins of every size, shape, and personality yes, pumpkins have personalities!. You’ve got your classic round, orange fellas, and then you’ve got the oddball, lumpy ones that look like they’ve been through some things—kinda relatable, right? Anyway, I spent way too long trying to pick the perfect pumpkin, as if I was auditioning them for a major role in my porch décor. And don’t get me started on the sheer joy of pumpkin carving. Let's just say my jack-o’-lantern ended up looking less like an art piece and more like a deranged smiley face, but it was all part of the charm.nnNext up: the petting zoo. Ah, where do I begin? The goats. Yes, goats, plural. Now, if you’ve never been nibbled on by a goat, let me tell you, it’s an experience. These little guys are basically the rockstars of Carma FarmsnnAnd then, oh, the farmers market. I thought I’d just pick up a few things, but of course, I left with more than I could carry. The smell alone when you walk in—that combination of fresh bread, apples, and homemade jams—could make anyone want to set up camp there permanently. And the local honey? Let’s just say my toast game is going to be elevated for weeks.nnThe vibe at Carma Farms is what really seals the deal though. It’s got that perfect balance of being fun for kids cue the face-painting and hayrides but also enjoyable for adults who just want to escape the hustle and bustle. It’s like stepping into this little pocket of peace where you can pet some animals, grab a pumpkin, and pretend for a second that life is as simple as feeding a goat or picking out fresh produce.nnSo, if you’re looking for a day filled with pumpkins, cute animals, and the best farmers market haul you’ll ever bring home, Carma Farms is the place to be. Just be warned: you’ll probably leave with more pumpkins than you planned and a soft spot in your heart for goats.
