Carin Charles migrated from the Caribbean to Canada with the goal of pursuing her dream of becoming a hair stylist and salon owner. As the eldest of four sisters, Carin’s passion was fuelled in the family kitchen washing her sisters’ hair and using Kool-Aid as hair colour. Carin was able to seize the opportunity provided when she was accepted at Marca College Hair and Esthetics in 2000. She graduated with a diploma and top honours. Carin has been a licensed hairstylist since 2002 and has worked in the field ever since. Over the years Carin has continued to attend numerous workshops to enhance her natural talent, including training from Pivot Point Systems. Her ultimate goal was realized in February of 2012 when she opened Carin’s Hair Studio with pride and confidence. She has a regular and loyal clientele built over many years of hard work, perseverance, creativity and commitment.
