Caribou Grill

We went there for dinner last night for my husband's birthday. Everything was spectacular! The food was amazing & our server, Laurie L. was attentive to all of our needs. The main menu is pretty extensive & so was the dessert menu! We would definitely go there again if we were in the area!

Great food and wonderful service. We had the NY steak and the peppercorn steak - both were lovely. Also had the apple crisp with ice cream. The servers were friendly and professional- all of them were helping each other out. Lot of space with several tables.

Amazing decor with great atmosphere. Staff was really friendly and the food was really good. We took a tomatoes herb soup which was amazing and onion soup which was had authentic French taste. We had as main course New York stake and fettuccine carbonara with bacon. Both were very good and had a lof of flavor. As drink i took a strawberry daiquiri. All good there. It can be quite crowded so a reservation may be useful or you'll have to wait. Around 5.30 we waited about 10 min but we were only 2.

We loved this place! The decor is classic and timeless, rustic western theme cabin feel. Very well maintained and cared for. You could not replace this style again, so a certain level of appreciation must be had for how its been maintained over the years. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. The service was above and beyond. Our waitress was attentive, caring for children and understanding to a severe allergy to insure we were safe. We had a larger group family of 7 and received perfect service during a dinner rush. The food was awesome, it's more a traditional home cooked meal at grandma's rather than a resturant and I mean that in a good way! My wife doesn't like mushrooms so they swapped out for steamed broccoli with a cheese sauce which was delicious!. Also they bring fresh baked cheese bread before your meal and it was perfect! Special mentions/takeaways 1.Homemade horseradish sauce, it doesn't come with the prime rib but I happened to ask for it and it's a must have! Maybe best I've ever had. 2. Go for the full size pasta, its delish and worth the bigger fee, would also heat up well later for left overs! 3. They don't advertise that they have ginger ale on menu but they do : 4. Try to save room for dessert, we didn't but saw a neighboring table did and regretted not ordering the cheesecake! 5. The kids mac and cheese is actually box mac and cheese kids loved it but don't order if you want something more. Thank you staff, chefs and management for making what was to be a simple night stay in valemount as we drive home an experience to remember!

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Great service from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. My waitress was very busy, but always extremely friendly and made sure to check on me and the rest of her customers to make sure that you were always taken care of. The building is a very nice log type with nice decor. I was immediately greeted with the aroma of garlic and herbs as I walked in. Now the food... Absolutely amazing. They start with a garlic cheese bread. The meal came nice a swiftly. I got the 8oz Prime Rib Roast, with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and sautéed onions. It was cooked med well, exactly how I like it. I highly recommend this steak house! Thank you for an amazing dinner!

In the small little town of Valemount, this restaurant is a gem. The steaks and pastas are well cooked, and the ambiance is really cozy. Our server, Andrew was really, really nice. Just an enjoyable dinner all around! Went back a second time - still great!

Amazing food and staff. The prime rib is definitely worth every penny. Love every meal from this place. They never disappoint. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner with friends for a Christmas get together. Service wasn't the best with what seemed like lots of staff, took forever to get drinks, nevermind food. Food was ok after an 45 minute to hour wait for each person, ordered another round of drinks but after a half hour wait, serving the people at the bar was apparently more important. So we paid our bill with card and set out a tip in cash on the table. Before we finished our drinks, the server behind the bar rudely came up to our table and demanded a reason why we didn't tip on a $600+ bill. We explained that we're in fact leaving a tip, but it's not like it was deserved, or that you should be asking about it before we're even done and left. Said individual had given similar services in the past by serving the wrong drinks, and just saying "take it or leave it" when questioned about it. Can't say they'll get any of our business again or anyone we know.

Don't know what all the hype of this place is....food cold, service sucked. Expensive for what you get on a plate. No veggies, disappointment....Moose Pub way better

A great restaurant, not so pricey, with great food and service. First impression when entering: the decoration is amazing. Service was simply perfect. I took the grilled tenderloins and my wife took the New York steak with pasta. Both were really great. I was a bit disappointed by the dessert, the espresso cake, because I was expecting something more than an ice cake but it was still great. I highly recommend it!
