Update: Wait a tick. Got a hold of a lovely young lady by the name of Jordan answering phones at Cargo Ease, and it sounds promising that she might fix me up. I so miss my big ease!! I'll keep ya posted. PB Love the concept, execution isn't the best, and support calls go unanswered. I purchased the 2000lbs full extension less then a year ago. When empty, or almost empty this thing rocks, but add a little weight it will most certainly leave you stranded. It's now been 5 times I've either had to unload, close drawer, lock it, then reload my stuff. I'm talking at most 500lbs evenly distributed. The other day I found myself with 12 deck blocks (200lbs) on my cargo ease and stuck at half in half out in the homedepot lot. It got a lot of attention, but not for the right reasons. The first time it let me down, I had 20 sandbags and the slide would close, but not lock. At the time I thought the locking spring had failed as it had several weeks earlier. I was forced to drive with my drawer bouncing from tailgate to front box with full force of the load each time I stopped or started. Love the concept, I just haven't experienced what was promised. Sometimes it doesn't pay to buy local.

The sliding bed for the truck is a huge time saver.
