Amazing food. I had the regular poutine and it was delicious. Friends had the pulled pork poutine and the meat was incredible. It’s a quaint little place and the service is awesome. The owners smoke all of their own meat, make their own barbecue sauce and take great pride in the products they serve. I would come again and again if I lived closer. Definitely worth the visit.
Great brisket, pulled pork, smoked meat, etc. with options to get it as a sandwich with fries, on a poutine, or over mac n cheese. They have nice spots to sit down by the Preston River with picnic tables and umbrellas. My go-to lunch spot when I’m heading home from Papineau-Labelle Nature Reserve!Food: 5/5
Amazing brisket! I love poutine and never saw a brisket poutine anywhere before. Its probably 5000 calories but worth every single one. There is also a seating area in their backyard next to the river for those who want to enjoy great food in the nature.
We pulled in 3 mins before closing time. Desperate to eat, thought it closed at 8pm iso 730pm. Without hesitation they said we could still order. NO PROBLEM! The brisket and the pulled pork were delicious! This is how it should be!
We read previous reviews and were not disappointed! The brisket was absolutely excellent, great onion rings and fries. I also had a wonderful Quebec cassis gin and tonic- wow! Great food, ambience and the owners were very very nice!
Great place & amazing food!!! I would highly recommend Carbo BBQ. We had the brisket sandwich & the pulled pork sandwich with a poutine side. All the dishes were delicious. They give you huge portions at a great value and the view out back is a nice bonus... We will be back!!! thanks again...
Prepare for the unexpected! If someone told you to drive almost two hours northeast of Ottawa along a windy road through dense forests to eat amazing BBQ served by a couple from France in a Quebec village you have never heard of, you could be forgiven for thinking it was a prank. But that is exactly what you will find at Carbo BBQ in Duhamel, Quebec. We arrived to find that many others had heard about it as well, and we had to wait in line, but not for too long. Don't be put off by the brass skull door handle just kidding! It works with the overall vibe of dark colours and Edison lights. Weather permitting, be sure to snag one of the six picnic tables out back on the banks of a small river. We had and recommend the pulled pork, poutine and Mac and cheese. They also have brisket and ribs, as well as a plethora of freezer friendly items. Highly recommended. Perfect to couple with a trip to Montebello or the waterfalls at Plaisance.
Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, first time i had the fat of a brisket just melt in my mouth like that and with a delicious mac and cheese. Can't wait to go again.Food: 5/5
Forget stopping here it you happen to be in the area - this place is worth going out of your way for. Phenomenal BBQ, large portions, very friendly staff. On top of it, there's nice picnic tables by a small creek. Will be going back!
