An absolute culinary marvel! Captains Resto and Lounge in my small town of St Louis blew me away. During my visit back to my home town, I enjoyed their Sunday Brunch and went back for an unforgettable dinner. The flavours were extraordinary, and each bite was a journey. The Beet-Goat cheese bites are A MUST TRY! This gem deserves all the praise. A must-visit for all locals and visitors seeking an exceptional gastronomic experience.
Enjoyed an amazing meal that can best be described as an experience. The food was plated beautifully and tasted incredible. We also enjoyed the chocolate cake for dessert, it is made in house and you can definitely taste that. I can't wait to eat here again.
Came to visit from Ontario in June 2023 and went to dine in the restaurant. It is very clean, cheerful nautical decor and staff are all so friendly. Loved that we could dine inside or out. The food was amazing, very fresh and great presentation! Enjoyed the drink that Susanne recommended. You must try the beet balls....amazing!!

Expertly prepared and beautifully plated; the freshest of ingredients; and the flavors are literally swoon worthy.nCompliments to the chef and to the L'Ancorage for the most incredible dining experience.
We just had a lovely evening at the Captains Resto and lounge. I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food presented. The ambience is warm and inviting. We didn’t speak to the chef but his wife Susan who manages the front of the house was welcoming and knowledgable about their dishes.nThis restaurant is an amazing asset to the Beau rivage region.nLooking forward to our next meal!
