What a great place to visit, the settings and ambiance couldn't be better. My clam strips and clam fritters were amazing. If you are looking for great seafood at a fair price in New London, this is certainly the place for you.
We went for ice cream and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and moved the line quickly. If you're going here for food on the weekends, be prepared to wait.

Great food, fair portions. Just know it is a little pricey and you will have a long wait. Expect an hour wait during peak times, but worth the wait.
The fried fish, shrimp, and clams were all great, especially the shrimp. The clam chowder was ok, and their coleslaw was awful, almost flavorless. There’s plenty of parking and outdoor seating. The folks there are friendly and helpful. They had a Christmas tree made of lobster cages.
I've been eating fish and seafood for a large portion of my life. Captain Scott's had the best fried fish I've had in my life for a very reasonable price. Not to mention the outstanding customer service. If I could give more than five stars I would every time
