I recently dined at Captain Pizza and tried the Mushroom Truffle Pizza and Nona's Pasta. The flavors were amazing! The pizza and pasta were both delicious, and the truffle really added a special touch. We also had the Warm Chocolate Cake for dessert, which was decent but not outstanding. Overall, a great dining experience with fantastic flavors.
Went here for dinner tonight. We ordered the garlic cheese bread, meatballs, margarita pizza, and meat lovers pizza. The garlic cheese bread was really good. I enjoyed my pizza, even though it wasn't a traditional margherita pizza with the cherry tomatoes on top. My husband said his meat lovers pizza was alright. We ordered the meatballs with the garlic cheese bread to start but didn't get it until the end by this time we were full so we had it to go. The service was a bit slow but otherwise it good.
The flavours here are good but the pizza I got was a little dry. I should have maybe bought one of the sauces?!? The gluten free pizza smaller one also had good flavour but a little weird shape and was a little dry also. Could have been they were busy or made a little too early. Who knows. Will try a different pizza or one from the lunch special by the slice. Or order extra sauce. Lovely staff and nice easy location to get to.
My family first had Steak Cheese Pizza M and Pasta. It was so delicious that I ate an additional chef's special pizza. Pasta is great too. The service is good.Food: 5/5
We ordered calamari, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, 3 kinds of pizza and a calzone for take out. Everything was so good! Elroy is very kind and the rest of the staff are so attentive and are really good with customer service. Their location is also very ideal and the place is so neat and tidy. I highly recommend this place!
Great restaurant with a Brazilian vibe touch. I got surprised you can order Brazilian Caipirinha here!! haha I ordered Pollo con Alfredo and it was delicious. Have tried the pizzas already and the dough is fantastic.Food: 5/5
A lover of Neapolitan pizza and drop into various spots in Vancouver. Ie Garden Pizza Main Street. But living in the burbs its challenging to find this light, bubbly thin crust pizza. Stumbled upon Captains Oven Pizza in the new food court extension in the Willowbrook Mall. Right next to Lee’s donuts another favorite spot. Staff were more than helpful, place clean and tidy. Manager was helpful and keen to please. Pizza was available by the slice, perfect… I like to mix em up. Had a slice of traditional pepperoni and ham and cheese. Arrived quickly and hot to my table and, as expected, crispy bubbly, not heavy on the cheese just as I liked it downtown. I’ll be back. Fully Wheelchair assessable auto door mall washrooms nestled in corridor behind.
I'm really impressed with every aspect about this joint. The pizza is delicious, the options are numerous, and they have a friendly staff. Went here for some slices, but I'll definitely be coming back for full meals in the future!Food: 5/5
Newly opened Captains Oven Pizza was good! We ordered the Meat Lovers and was surprised as to how filling a small pizza was. The atmosphere is nice and chill. The design of the restaurant has good vibes. The owner came out to check in on us, which is always a nice thing. Dining in, the staff provides table service. Food waiting times were relatively quick for an oven baked pizza. Sauces/condiments are openly available as well.
Best pizza around here! We had the Chef’s Special and it was excellent. Great flavour combo. There was an issue. We ordered a medium and due finished it off. I was craving it for breakfast...should have order a large.Food: 5/5
