Super bummed. Usually love the food here but just received my order and its soggy, undercooked and rubbery. I even specifically requested it to be crispy, but instead I was sent something that had clearly been sitting around for a while. None if its even remotely warm and skip won't allow it to be exchanged for a new one. Would have been perfectly happy to just give this one back in exchange for a properly cooked meal.
This place is seriously underrated it should be 5 stars... came here second time and it was delicious one of the best place for fish and chips in Ontario. Portions are huge and satisfying thanks for this gem..
Visited here last week and had a great experience. Haven't had fish and chips this good in a long time. The batter was light and crisp, a good size piece of halibut, and exceptional french fries. Good value for halibut. The fries were so good I'm having poutine the next time we go. Hope, our server, was a delight -- friendly and attentive. Decor leaves a little to the imagination, but most fish and chips places are like this and it's sort of part of the charm! Loads of space between tables for anyone sensitive to social distancing.
Got fish and chip's with coleslaw +, got an apple crumble caramel desert for someone close who's been trying to survive on hospital slop for a long time. Very appreciative, ate almost all of it, polished off the dessert. The only minus, not enough coleslaw was included, but it was delicious from what I heard. Waitress was exceptional. Will definitely come here again, hopefully soon. Thanks. Even hospital staff walking by were complimenting the aroma. They were envious, asked if I brought more.
Fries were good. Fish was falling apart overcooked. So therefore I did not get my fish craving fulfilled.Food: 1/5

Best fish and chips. I gave them a try after seeing there award for best in Grey county and I have to agree. Keep up the great work.
So I found the lady at the counter a bit rude and uptight with no sense of humour. The menu on google is outdated and my meals were $2.00 more then when I arrivedc their website doesn’t even disclose the prices. Gravy was $.90 for a small and my small was half full but it was delicious. Fish was greasy and some fries were over cooked and some were ok
I definitely recommend this place. the fish is cooked to perfection the atmosphere is very friendly.Food: 5/5
