Awesome food, great staff and fast service. One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen.
We stopped in Trenton for fish and chips on our way to Toronto. Cold and rainy outside, warm and inviting insides. Very generous portions, and the fish was very tasty. Will go back again.Food: 4/5
We ordered for first time, knowing the business is up for sale. Fish was good but be had to make our own tarter sauce. Hence, not worth price.
Do you want to have a waitress that rolls her eyes at you several times while you're paying +$100 for dinner ? Need more time with the menu? Eye roll. Ask for a drink? Eye roll. Look no further, this is the place to go to. Hope you're lucky and get the dark haired one, she's nice.
Very fresh products. Great staff. If your ever in Trenton ,Belleville, or Brighton stop by grab a meal you won't be disappointed
Nice welcoming staff even though we got there not far from closing time. I very much enjoyed my seafood platter with 2 pieces of thin coat batter cooked just right and tasting fresh. The large shrimp and scallops along with fries were really good also. The tarter sauce was a little more upscale and better than off the shelf stuff. I ordered a garden salad the came to the table within a minute or 2. As far as price it was in line with what you can expect to pay for premium seafood. The location is in the middle of town, has an outdoor eating area with a view of the Trent River and the Port. It's only a few steps away from Fraser Park so you could enjoy take out right on the river.
Why do restaurants pile on the fries? My wife and I went there for her birthday meal on Monday, because in this area most restaurants are closed or have no dine in. The waitress, who was working alone was very efficient and quick, but her loud displeasure with the cook was a bit over the top. We sat in their tiny, outside patio, but I was glad I had a long-sleeved shirt on because the metal patio tables were so rusted out that there were very sharp areas along the edges. The server was great at suggesting ways that we, and the other patrons could order our meals at cost saving prices. All in all it was a good experience, save for the dangerously sharp table edges.
Had haddock dinner for 2, great price, fish was excellent not overly battered just right. Also salmon filet was delicious. Service was fantastic even though very busy still was well taken care of. Recommend highly and will be back.
Great service, great food. Haven't been there since before covid. The Waitress remembered us. She is the best. We we there Tues. Nov 29 @ 3:15.
Never had a bad experience, the foods amazing, staffs friendly, place is very clean! Best food around this area worth the price !!
