What a fantastic Bed & Breakfast! The hospitality is amazing. Easily one of the best places me and my parents have stayed, and we've done our fair bit of traveling. We arrived very late in the night, around 11, as we had driven straight from the ferry. Mary Lou (our host) not only stayed up waiting for us, but she also greeted us with hot tea, cake, cheese and crackers. She was really friendly and made many suggestions for our trip. The scenery is stunning as well, we were disappointed that we only had one night to spend here. If we shall find ourselves in Newfoundland again, we will most definitely try and spend some more time at Captain Cook. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast!

Wonderful Mary Lou and her husband Alan. So welcoming and the room so spotlessly clean. Homemade muffins and banana cake with a cup of tea at night. Best fresh fruit salad and then eggs, bacon, and moreThank you!! Sandie and Brian

Amazing people amazing views and amazing accommodations. Allan and Mary-Lou are the best kind of people and I can't say enough about how much my family enjoyed our stay. Do not pass this opportunity up. Within minutes of the parks ports and trails this place is second to none.

In Newfoundland terms, the couple that run this place are "best kind". It's cheaper than renting a hotel room in town and has a better view with easy access to lots of hiking. If you want to really see Newfoundland at its best, stay at this b&b

Nice little place to stay! Cabin is clean and beautifully decorated. It sits right close to the beach with a place to have a fire.
