I was excited to try this place, but they were too busy watching soccer to take care of me.

Ok this is an edit about 3 months after eating here for the first time, and I still think about their chicken shawarma to this day. They use a crepe as the “tortilla” for lack of a better word and it is heavenly.

Sambusas are awesome, malawax is awesome, chicken is awesome, and the somali coffee reminds me of chai, but with coffee instead of tea, it's all really good.

Customer service was great and very friendly! I tried the chicken shawarma and mediterranean salad. Both tasted very fresh and flavorful. The value and portion sizes are great for sharing, or leftovers. I also loved the Somali tea. Amazing restaurant and people :

My go to spot for Coffee, Somali Tea, and Snacks! My favorites are the coffee latte, malawax, green smoothie and the Tandoori chicken.One of the best Minority owned restaurants in the twin cities. Friendly staff, friendly price and quite place during the morning hours.
