Best family restaurant in the region!! If you like old school golden age restauranteur experience, this is the place. Not expensive, not fancy. Just real!!

I have never been more impressed with a restaurant as I have been with the capitol. THE FOOD was amazing. All freshly made. The spanakopita and pea soup was the best I have ever had. I was also impressed with the timing. All 7 of the main dinners for our family arrived together. Considering all the meals are freshly made I find that to be very impressive. Especially for a single chef. My hats off to him. THE PRICES where great. More than fair. For 15 dollars you get a full large entree with garlic toast, mashed potatoes, fresh steamed vegetables and desert. The appys are also very well priced. I highly recomend the spanokapita. THE SERVICE was the best I ever had. Our waiter was extremely personable and polite. He was enthuisiastic and you could tell he took pride in his job and the family business. He was quick as well. I givw the capitol 5 out of 5 Realistically it deserves 10 out of 5. Will definitaly make this a regular outing everytime I come down from the coast.
