Decent cup of coffee at a very reasonable price. The best part though is that it's a nice atmosphere to sit and chat when you need need to get out of the office. The staff has always been super kind too.
Great place to grab coffee quick, and a variety of other items on their menu as well. I've had some of their breakfast munchies, delicious! I really like using their space for meetings with clients, as it's easy to find, very open and welcoming layout, and coffee prices are reasonable. Peet's coffee for the win!
I worked for CapitalOne as a contractor from July 2018 to April 2019. I did a really good job and no complaints from management. I was told that my contract would be through June, even though I heard rumors of my job being automated. In April, without warning, my contract was terminated. They straight up lied to me. I wrote a letter to the president of Capital One and what I got was, verbal abuse from my agency and Capital One HR. Well guess what? I just inherited a very nice sum of money. None that was deposited into a CapitalOne bank account.
I had recently moved to St. Cloud, Minnesota a couple of years ago and I decided to attend a local job fair at the River's Edge Convention Center. I did my research online to confirm what positions Capital One was hiring for. I was ready to apply and have an interview. I had the experience, skills, speak more than one language, I dressed professionally. There were two capital one representatives and I asked these two gentlemen about the position I was interested in applying for, but one of them answered "no, I'm sorry, we are not hiring for that position". I was surprised because I had done my research and made sure they were hiring. Then I replied "Oh, OK. What positions are you guys hiring for?" and the same employee replied "sorry we don't have any positions available right now". Then I knew right there and then I was the wrong color, you know it and you feel it. Since then I decided not to have anything to do with capital one. I have been a satisfied Wells Fargo customer for so many years. I travel all over the country and abroad and they have always done the job right. Banking with them has always been very convenient. So I always let people know what to expect when banking with capital one. "What's in your wallet?" Well, definitely is NOT capital one...
To be honest, the coffee is okay. But every other aspect makes this my go to cafe! The environment is very welcoming and it is a great place to work on homework or socialize with friends. The large windows let in lots of natural light in and there are many large desks that give you enough space to work on handwritten homework. The ambassadors are some of the most hospitable brand representatives I have ever come across. You can get 50% off of the coffee if you pay with a Capital One card and they offer a free coffee on Wednesdays for college students. Want to try going to a new place to work on homework or get the best deal on coffee? Definitely check this place out!
I've been a Capital One banker for many years and really like the company as a whole. This cafe is great because they give customers 50% off for using a Capital One card, on Wednesdays they give students a free drink, and there are free menstrual products in the women's room. This company shows customer appreciation. The three star review is reflective of this particular Capital One cafe. While there are many great things about this place, I must say, the current barista staff two gals in particular have the worst attitudes I have ever seen in a customer service position. I say this after frequenting this cafe for the past five months, and also being a barista for six years. Honestly, their attitudes are so bad, that part of me wonders if this is a tactic used to make all the other employees seem nicer. If so, it works! A soggy, wet broom is more charming than the crab-meisters behind the counter.
Capital One Cafe is the cafe located inside the Capital One bank lobby. It's a great place for meeting business clients or having a business meeting. They offer coffee, tea and other beverages, as well as bakery items and other light fare to eat. It's a comfortable space right in the center of downtown. I cannot recommend the bank itself as they have some very underhanded business practices that they used on me as a customer. The cafe, however, is decent.
Really bad customer service. I always try to be friendly but the baristas seem to be quick to irritate and very unfriendly. Never want to remake a drink if they've made it wrong and give back a lot of attitude and make you feel absolutely terrible about it! I love the coffee here but because I have had so many unpleasant experiences with the staff I have simply chosen to discontinue visiting this location. its bummer. :/
Some of the best coffee in town! Plus 50% off all drinks of you use a capital one card?? Why would I ever go anywhere else!! Also check out the cafe's activities, they often do free classes and workshops that are very useful! The only bad thing is they are not open on weekends and holidays.
The employees here are very friendly and helpful. I was a little confused on what this is when talking to them over the phone, but it's a Starbucks-like environment with a handful of customer service representatives, and a modern ATM, and a 24-hour ATM outside. There are no bank tellers/desks like a traditional branch, but this doesn't seem to be necessary. 10/10 would go again.
