Loni in the service department is absolutely fantastic. She takes the time to explain what your vehicle needs and why and will work to accommodate all your required services into one appointment. Would continue coming here for service based on how lovely she is alone!

Initial interactions were positive up until the drive home but the after purchase service only reinforced almost every shady car salesman tactic I’ve ever been suspicious of. Discovered the tailgate wasn’t what was shown in the personal walk around video a $3000 difference which was the truck I thought I was putting the deposit on. This was dismissed as “that was a different truck” when I stopped by to return the dealer plate. Took 5 days to have my deposit even processed on their end…would’ve been longer if I hadn’t called about it. First payment was taken out 3 days earlier than discussed and extended warranty card was mailed to my in-laws instead-no connection to the transaction other than their referral that sent me here. At the end of the day, GMC makes a quality product which is what earned my single star, shame the employees aren’t held to the same standard.

Please be aware that they will not tell you that the heated seat chip is in shortage and won't be coming with the new vehicle my case: GMC Terrain. They won't tell you until after you sign the contract with them. I have been waiting for almost five months and still haven't heard from anyone. I contacted Capital GMC, and the only thing they said was to wait. The sales rep told me that it would take only a month of wait, and now five months. Before you decide to buy a new vehicles from this place, please make sure you ask this question. Winter is coming, and the heated seat is still not working on my vehicle. I emailed Amanda, the Service Manager - 12 days ago to follow up with GMC for me, and I have heard nothing back from her. She doesn't care.

Capital GMC on the south side of Edmonton is a great place to feel taken care of by all areas of the dealership! For years I’ve had great friendly and respectful support, from detailed info on tech repairs and maintenance for my Chev Traverse with Erika and Sven. When it was time to change vehicles, Darrien the Sales Manager, and Manny in Sales gave me all the info and time I needed to choose the new ride!! Sheila in Finance helped broker the loan. I feel like part of their extended family, and highly recommend it for yours!

I cannot say enough good things about Manny Mankaran at Capital GMC. It was so refreshing to not be pressured or hassled! He trusted that he had given me all the information and that I would make a decision that was best for me and my family. Not only was I given a great price on my trade in but when I asked for a few things to be thrown in with the new vehicle he made it happen! Manny personally delivered the car as I wasn’t able to leave my house and when I had to get something looked at on my new vehicle weeks later he insisted I take a loner from the dealership for a few hours so I wasn’t stuck paying for an UBER. We had the best experience at Capital GMC Buick, We bought 2023 GMC Denali in Dec 2022 from Sam and Raza. Our first time walk in , we were just shopping for a price but we walked out closing the deal because of the staff. The staff was welcoming, friendly and gave us time, even though it was close to the closing time. Sam explained us everything about warranties, protection plan, financing ... everything about the truck and what's important after buying a truck. He went above and beyond for us and he listened to our concerns and our interest of what we were looking for in a truck. We can't thank enough to Sam for making this deal work and keeping us happy. They are so understanding and their customer service is beyond exceptional.
