Can’t say enough about the Canyons River Company. We just booked our 3rd trip with them. If you are looking for a thoughtful, professional, helpful, fun-loving, experienced, family-friendly, safe, and high-integrity outfitter for your next trip then look no further. Every aspect of our first 2 trips down the Main Salmon River with them were outstanding, especially the guides and the FOOD!. Looking forward to many more trips down the river with Canyons.
Went on a Middle Fork trip and it was the best 6 days on the water ever! My husband and I actually got married on the trip, something that we had planned 2 years in advance. From the pre-trip planning support to the actual guides on the river, everything was perfect. They are an extremely professional yet laid back and friendly outfitter. They also are very accommodating for large groups of kayakers, when almost every other outfitter seemed very uncomfortable with the idea of so many boats in the water. Thanks for the amazing trip Canyons!
Just back from my 2nd trip with Canyons! I thought it was a trip of a lifetime, but after my trip with them last summer I knew I had to do it again! I can't say enough about how fabulous it is to experience the Middle Fork with Canyons! They know and LOVE this river and will share it with you in a very special way! Book your trip now! Did a 6 day and 5 night trip with my 13 year old son on the main fork of the salmon. Canyons crew engaged my son and the other kids as much as they did the awesome nearly weds as well as the grandparents on the trip. The river was awesome 1st week in August. Canyons guides were caring, fun to pass the time with and kept us safe, well hydrated and happily fed. What seems unique with this outfit is they alllowed us to paddle in a boat, paddle in an inflatable kayak a duckie , use a real kayak or lounge on an oar boat while they did all the work. Will be back with the rest of my family soon. Worth every dollar spent for this trip.

Super guides good cooks, educational and informative, compassionate, just fun, opportunities to duckie, SUP, paddle in the raft, or just hang out on a supply oar boat. Camps are clean and strongly encouraged to be kept that way. Group intermingling is promoted. No judgement, just good fun!
Whoop! Most amazing group of peeps ever. I went solo and had never done a multi day and wow...the experience really exceeded all expectations. Be ready to get wet, eat amazing food, and bond with nature and a ton of new friends!
Have been rafting with Canyons on 5 different occasions. They are hands-down the BEST! It is not just the beauty of the wilderness, it is how EVERYONE who work at Canyons makes you feel like family. Their style and universal way of accommodating every guest no matter how young or old is simply astounding! The entire group of guides made each trip so very special and life-changing. I would highly recommend them.
My best friend and I have rafted 20+ rivers over the last 40 years, using many rafting companies. We took our first Salmon River trip with Canyons in the mid-90's, I took my family back on the same trip four years later and again 12 years after that. The Canyons team is incredible - far and away the best rafting company of all the ones I've experienced. The number of guides that stay with Canyons is amazing - we actually had two guides on our last trip that were on our first trip 16 years earlier! When I am asked by friends, Canyons is the only rafting company I recommend.
