I love it except for the fact of where it's located in Nampa and what type of crowd hangs out by it. Also I strongly suggest that they should offer a free admissions day for the less fortunate and for those who honestly can't afford the rate.
This place is AMAZING and full of history. If you Love trains, railroads,and Nampa history then you'll love this place. They have a miniature train set that is so cool to watch, a cute little gift shop and friendly volunteers. Bring your children and introduce them to the past.
Worth a quick visit to checkout the historical museum and trains. The city has done a great job to preserve this building!
This is a neat museum, especially if you have children who love trains. It doesn't take much time and had a couple of hands on activities.
Very few things to see. Get to climb inside one train car, the other one attached is not really accessible.
Cool place but the staff was kind of rude, the sign said open, and it was during their regular open hours, but we were told to leave that they were closed. I might go back. ‍
It is beautifully preserved inside. The employees are very warm and welcoming. The museum itself is a little small. But it is so cool to see it all! My children always enjoy visiting.
Friendly konlageable staff.old.steem crane and caboose that can be gone inside of.
