Beautiful town, I just love coming here. There are so many trails and so many great little restaurants. The views are absolutely stunning and I like that it’s not as packed as Banff and still very close to Calgary. All the trails are kept nice and clean wherever it is, you go to have leisurely stroll. The backdrops are amazing and there’s so much history in the town.
We just spent four amazing days in the beautiful town of Canmore, Alberta, and it was an experience to remember! This charming town has so much to offer on its own, but its proximity to Banff just 25 minutes away makes it an even better destination. The breathtaking views of the Rockies provided the perfect backdrop for peace and relaxation.nnThe locals in Canmore were incredibly friendly and engaging, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. And the food—wow! One standout was The Stirling restaurant and lounge at our hotel, The Malcolm. The meals were absolutely superb, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening.nnWe also had a blast exploring the area. One morning, we went dog sledding, which was an unforgettable adventure.nnIf you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by natural beauty, friendly people, and delicious food, Canmore is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!
Beautiful little town on the way to Banff from Calgary. It's a must stopover and the views are lovely from the main street. Many options to eat and shop and enjoy the lovely mountains.
Stunning little town. Feels like you walked onto a movie set. It does remind me a little of the Whistler Vibe, since I am from Vancouver. But it was super cozy and everyone was very friendly. Had lots of little shops and restaurants, didn’t get to spend too much time there but I definitely want to go back and explore more of it. Just stopped in quickly to grab some coffee and some snacks before making our way into Banff and Jasper, can’t wait to come back in couple weeks and experience it with snow :: a winter wonderland I’m sure
Fun town to visit- has a small town feel but big town amenities. Eat a meal, fill up your tank, go shopping for the afternoon and so much more. Glad we stopped to enjoy the afternoon.nUse the public parking areas it is so much easier. Basically $4 an hour for public parking.
