We stayed in Canmore for three nights and found plenty to do and see. The variety of food and souvenir shops is exceptional and not as expensive as places like Banff. We hiked the power line to Grassi lakes trail and back and enjoyed a night in the town afterwards.
Very fun and interactive town. Lots of outdoor activities, including bike paths, water activities, parks, gathering places as well as the Legacy trail. Find early parking for mist attractions.
Canmore was gorgeous. The mountains, the weather, and also the wildlife made the trip 100% worth it! I only got to spend one day there, but I will be going back in the future to explore more of this gorgeous area!
That's a wonderful sentiment! Canmore is indeed a place of incredible natural beauty. The combination of the majestic Rocky Mountains, the stunning views, and the fantastic trails for hiking and exploring truly makes it feel special. Many people feel a deep connection to such inspiring landscapes.nnWhether one believes it was created by a divine hand or shaped by the powerful forces of nature over millennia, there's no denying the phenomenal character of Canmore and its surroundings. It's a place that evokes awe and appreciation for the natural world.
Very beautiful picturesque and worthwhile going to see this place. It has a number of nice restaurants, as well as take out type restaurants.
