Very nice eatery that sits along the Mississippi River in Clinton, IA. Food is very good. Had their signature Chicken George fixed with prime seasoning. Excellent. They mainly have craft beers on draft, which I enjoy very much. They promote local brewers. Very enjoyable evening with great service.

This is the third time eating here.  The food is always excellent.  If you have not tried the Chicken George just ask for a free sample.  You will be glad you did!  

Plan ahead as this restaurant can get very busy!

Chicken George has been my favorite since I was a kid. It's still my favorite meal to this day. The Clinton Candlelight is the best place in town for dinner and has great views of the river, especially at sunset. Service is always great, I highly recommend.

I had the fish and chips, it was decent enough. Chicken George is always fabulous. Our server was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere and decor was very welcoming and bright. Can't wait to go back!!

The original Chicken George. Great place, service is usually quick, and the river view from the patio is excellent. One of the top three restaurants in Clinton
