My boyfriend and I, went to Cancun Restaurant to have "Real Mexican Food" but this is not Mexican style... We are from , obviously we know about Mexican stuff. I ordered Green enchiladas without sour cream or cheese, and the waiter brought me, Enchiladas Rojas. My boyfriend ordered "Flautas" and they were different from authentic Mexican Food. The flavour of the food is good, but the service is not top-notch, We ordered a drink "Horchata Water" is the best one that I ever had here, you should try this one We finished our meal and the server brought us the bill, we didn't ask for the bill, we wanted to order a dessert but instead, We paid and we leave. The atmosphere is that of ancient Mexico The Horchata water is the best!
The staff were very nice, but the wait was long, I guess it was just that day. My friends enjoyed the food. The food was cold when they served it but it was obvious they used fresh ingredients and made everything in house. Very kind staff.

Fantastic! Authentic for sure. I love Mexican food and this place certainly nails it. Super friendly staff, nice and quiet. Great portions and great prices. Complimentary nachos and salsa are great. Just like Mexico! I love how the fella speaks Spanish. Can pretend I'm on vacation for an hour. Ill be making special trips down from Radium to eat here!
I discovered Cancun when I started traveling through Cranbrook for work a couple of times every month in July 2020. I have made it a point of going back at least a couple of times a month. Food is excellent! Very fresh tasting and I have tried several of the dishes on the menu. My favorite is the chicken chimichanga. Service has always been with a smile and I just can't say enough good things about the restaurant. Menu pricing is very reasonable and portions are large. Will definitely stop here when I'm in Cranbrook next!
The best and most authentic Mexican food in Canada that I know of!!! Extremely good flavor! Also really good drinks. Try the Horchata drink, super delicious! Friendly Spanish speaking staff. Sure worth going there. Highly recommended!
Authentic and fair prices. Very hard to find real Mexican food in BC and Alberta, so this was a nice find. Soups start around $7 and the main dishes don't exceed $20. The sample plate I ordered was $17. Portion sizes are good - complimentary chips and salsa was appreciated. You will get this in Texas and Mexico, but Canada doesn't tend to give anything for free. The menu isn't extremely user-friendly for those not familiar with this cuisine; however a quick Google search or asking the server can help solve any questions. It's always a treat to experience restaurants like these, and enjoy the unique flavours and family recipes. A previous reviewer was complaining about cash only? We had no issues paying debit, I think credit may not be accepted here though.
Visited on our way through Cranbrook and are.avid Mexican food fans. Service was good, friendly host and restaurant was clean. We were the only ones there though at lunchtime. We found our meals on the bland side however, and the rice was not mexican at all, more like standard long grain plain rice. Refried beans were very bland and meals needed salt. Salsa was good however. Overall just ok and not a showstopper for us.
Great food! Huge portions. We had the fajitas and enchiladas. Would highly recommend either dish. They even grilled up an extra spicy pepper for my husband after he mentioned he liked spice. Wish this place was in my hometown, we'd go all the time!
Fantastic meal and would definitely go back. This isn't American Mexican, so if excessive cheese and beans is your thing, then maybe look elsewhere. If you're interested in flavorful food with quality ingredients, this is a great place.
