Extremely clean store, with products other stores don't have. Helpful staff that have great attitude despite dealing with challenging customers. Open to walkin 24 hours unlike gas stations that serve from window. Great conversations with staff. Fun place to look around.
If you need gas early in the morning, this is the ONLY spot really. They've been clutch for that. Beyond gas, they've got a clean store, friendly staff, and some other interesting products to offer, if you know what you want.
Review of Chester Chicken at Canco gas station. I remember Chester Chicken from 20 years ago when I was in high school, so it's been around for a while. I've seen it in other provinces but it's not very common. When we found out Canco recently been offering Chester Chicken. It's my brother's birthday and he wanted fried chicken for dinner. We knew it was time to give it a try.nnI ordered a 20 piece meal for $60 and dipping sauce extra 0.50 each avoid. I was told by staff it would take 8 minutes for a fresh batch for the meal. I figured that was worth the wait, so while we waited the friendly staff offered us a sample of the chicken and mojo potato wedges. There was also another customer after us waiting for their meal too. Long story short it took a little over 30 minutes for our meal as I checked the time on my phone for accuracy. If they gave me a more accurate wait time I would not have taken a star rating off.nnAs far as the food goes. The fried chicken is excellent as it tasted like KFC but with better chicken quality. Another thing we liked was the mojo potato wedges as it has the same batter as the fried chicken. Tons of flavors and textures, I recommend dipping the mojo in sour cream. The side salad was on the small side and was average. The dipping sauce was tiny and not worth paying extra for it.nnI will return next time but I'll order an individual meal. They don't stock enough chicken for the bigger meal sizes and waiting over 30 minutes is too long. The gas station itself is very busy and they have a lot of blue collar to homeless customers who stop by while I wait. They also sell screamers slushy with soft serve ice cream which looks good. Overall a good food offering for a gas station, but wish they gave a more accurate wait time.
Note to self never This place is a cone just ripping customers off acting dumb like you don't speak English dubble charging people saying the old transaction is automaticly deposit back I'n to my account it don't work that way buddy but no point of completing about it just not shopping here no more bad customers survive soo nope can do buddy more shipping somewhere else good day buddy just remember you're one of or favorite customer
Awesome place. Staff is really friendly, they always take care of your needs and greet you with a smile. Store is very clean and their chester chicken is amazing. Must visit.
