Jake from Aurora store was outstanding. I visited the location twice and had not only an amazing conversation with Jake but outstanding customer service!!!! In my books Employee the year! Thanks for your help and care. Ps Megan at customer service was a delight!!!!
Canadian Tire Aurora Auto ServicennYesterday, I had an appointment at the Canadian Tire Aurora location for a winter tire change—an appointment I booked 45 days in advance. I arrived on time and sat in the waiting area, where an elderly woman and her daughter were also waiting.nnI was told my car would be ready within two hours. After waiting, I approached an associate to ask for an update, and it was so sad to see that the associates were either chatting with a friend or on the phone instead of helping the customers in line. Meanwhile, two other customers were already upset because their service had been done incorrectly.nnWhile waiting, I saw the elderly woman and her daughter leave to get their car, only to return because it wouldn’t start, the issue still wasn’t fixed after they had waited more than three hours. It was heartbreaking to see how stressed and helpless they were.nnWhen I went to pay, more customers were frustrated, and the staff still showed no urgency, communication, or empathy. Later, I checked the reviews and realized this is a common problem at this location.nnTo the associates and mechanics: your work is important, but good communication and kindness make a huge difference. When customers are unhappy, it only brings more stress to you as well. A little more care, attention, and understanding would make both your job and the customers’ experience much better.nnI left feeling disappointed and sad. I can’t stop thinking about the elderly mother with her canes, waiting for her daughter, or the other upset customers, while the staff at Canadian Tire ignored their situation and made no real effort to fix the problem. Are you truly happy working this way? I hope this feedback leads to real improvements.
Zero stars if I could. Terrible service experience. Experience was extremely disappointing and far below the level of professionalism and customer care I expected.nI had scheduled a rust-proofing service two weeks in advance and even received a reminder message one day before the appointment. However, upon arriving at the store on time, I was ignored by the two reception staff who were casually chatting with each other. I waited approximately 15 minutes before being acknowledged. When I was finally spoken to, I was abruptly informed that the technician was sick and that my appointment had to be rescheduled. Although inconvenient, I accepted the situation and agreed to return the following weekend.nnI washed and prepared my car the day before the rescheduled service and arrived on time again. To my surprise, the same receptionist told me—very casually—that the service could not be performed because the outside surface was wet. At no point did your team provide any guidance, reminders, or notices about weather-related requirements for rust-proofing. There was also no proactive communication about potential appointment changes.nnWhat concerns me most is the indifferent and unprofessional attitude displayed by the senior receptionist. Instead of offering assistance or solutions, he showed no empathy, no effort to help, and no regard for the inconvenience caused by auto service team's poor communication.nnAvoid this place for Auto serivce! poor communication, poor customer service, and zero accountability.
I would never be expecting to leave a review for a Canadian Tire store as I am not a frequent visitor but after going to Home Depot where they did not have what I needed, I decided to try the Cdn tire next door. Not only did they have what I needed, but all of the 5 different people I dealt with were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Special mention to Sajad for his attitude and motivation to go above and beyond for a customer. They are definitely doing something right in running this store!
Mentioned to the team that skate sharpening equipment was malfunctioning as it didn’t sharpen skates correctly as one side always felt dull. Another customer came and got their skate sharpened the machine operator noticed it. However the manager when asked when they think the machine will be fixed became aggressive and started telling me to go elsewhere which is fine. I later went back to the same section and over heard him griping about how you get what you pay for…nnNot expecting professional skate sharpening but if it’s a shoddy job maybe just fix your machine instead of being rude and talking behind customers back ‍ ?
