This is now my favorite Canadian Tire store! My car battery had died and I was checking to see what battery would fit in my 2012 Nissan Versa. I mentioned the two year warranty was probably up and I was about to buy a new one when a nice associate at the automotive department looked at my car at auto department history, turns out the motor master battery actually had a 3 year warranty. They changed it up and it works perfectly. This store saved me money instead of just making a sale and I appreciate it.
The store is located closer to Hwy401, ample parking and restaurants nearby. The store staff is helpful and friendly. CT is the place to go if you have kids studying at the University and to fulfill their day to day shopping needs.
We had a wonderful experience today having a tire replaced on our loaded car dolly. Mark the service advisor and also with Curtis help found new tire match swapped out the poor tire. We are back in the road now heading for Edmonton Alberta. Thank you both for going above beyond any expectations. Out standing service. Thank you both.nMike
I used to be the type to go to the dealership with any car issues. About 4 years ago, I had a bad experience with the dealership and lost trust in their level of service. I needed a seatbelt receiver replaced due to a mishap with spilled milk instead of going to the dealership, I decided to give this store a try. I was NOT disappointed. Amanda at the auto desk has wonderful communication skills i.e. realistic timing, pricing, progress, etc. Their mechanic, Dan, is also a gem. During the hockey season, our passenger-side heater gave out. The part wouldn't be in on time to have it fixed before an out-of-town tournament... Dan understood the timing of the situation and found us a temporary solution. He showed us an item in the store and explained how to use it for the long drive. It worked like a charm. Amanda had us booked in as soon as the part arrived and the price was just as expected, no surprises. I would trust Dan and anyone working under his supervision to fix any and all of my automotive issues. They've repeatedly exceeded my expectations. 5 stars.
Asked twice to have the tool cage unlocked for a purchase, nobody came... The cashier said it over the intercom still nobody. I've bought tools for my business here for years. Not anymore. Horrible service. Seems like theres no workers on the floor there. Canadian tire has gone down hill. Lost my business for good. Useless waste of my time.
