Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. They walked me through the steps of what I came in for. They didn’t up charge me or try to push any sales or extras on me . Even in the end helping save money !
I brought my vehicle to Canadian Tire for service in good faith, expecting a basic inspection and professional handling. Shortly after the visit, my vehicle began displaying multiple warning messages that were not present before the service, including electronic parking brake failure and several safety-related sensor alerts.nnWhile I appreciate that the staff agreed to perform an initial diagnostic, I was informed that any corrective action could involve significant additional charges, with no clear assurance that the original issue would be resolved. Given that these faults appeared immediately after the service, this raised serious concerns for me regarding accountability, diagnostic accuracy, and overall quality control.nnAs a customer, I value transparency, technical competence, and confidence that my vehicle will not be returned in a worse condition than when it arrived. Unfortunately, this experience resulted in a loss of trust. For safety-critical systems, uncertainty is not acceptable.nnFor these reasons, I have decided to terminate my relationship with Canadian Tire and will be taking my vehicle to the manufacturer’s dealership for further inspection and repair. I believe customers should be fully informed, protected from unnecessary risk, and confident in the work being performed on their vehicles.nnI hope this feedback helps improve service quality and customer communication in the future.
I called Canadian tire cataraqui this morning for 4 winter tires. They wr in stock in the store,so asked Mike when I'd b able to get them put on. Likely not til mid December but I could bring my car in and leave it in case of a cancelation. Well he just called about half hrs ago and they're done. Wow very impressive and I'm very happy. Thank you so much Mike excellent service. I'm a happy happy girl
Would not recommend the automotive service at Canadian Tire.nnBrought my car in for an alignment and was told I suddenly needed extra repairs after drop-off. When I asked to just take my car elsewhere, I was told I’d still have to pay even though the alignment wasn’t completed and that my car would be unsafe to drive, which left me feeling pressured into approving additional charges just to get my vehicle back. To add, they never called when the extra work was supposedly finished, making me question if it was even done.nnIt got worse after I contacted customer service, the store manager called me and the conversation became confrontational, with accusations that I was being dishonest instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally.nnOverall, a stressful and unprofessional experience. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work here.
