This neatly organized Canadian Tire store is very conveniently located at Main and Danforth intersection. They have very extensive selection of home, auto and garden accessories and they mostly well stocked compared to other neighbouring ones. The store is well lit, clean and having clutter free aisles. They also have friendly and helpful staff. Having said that management should review their return policy and related services. They have a big parking lot although it might be hard to find a spot at times.
5 stars for the product selection and the online order system, it’s always efficient. I’m a regular at this store and usually have a good experience, but Tuesday night was frustrating. I came in after 7 PM to confirm some product specs and resolve a credit card issue.nnThings started poorly when my page for assistance went unanswered for 15 to 20 minutes. I eventually found the staff at their station, but they were preoccupied with personal interests on a phone, which explains why they missed the pages.nnOnce I did get moving, I want to thank the senior floor staff who stepped in. He gave me some really meaningful feedback on the specs and was resourceful enough to confirm details quickly when needed. I also really want to credit the staff member at the desk; she was professional and worked hard to get the billing sorted under a lot of end-of-day pressure.nnUnfortunately, that initial gap pushed everything else back. Because the store was closing, I felt rushed to finish, which led to mistakes on my part and several missing items. This stalled my emergency repairs and forced me to make a second trip back the next day.nnI just hope management can ensure floor pages take priority over personal phones so the closing process is smoother for the staff who are actually trying to help.
Another hidden gem of a store that often goes unnoticed lol my favorite nnStaff is amazing. Product selection is various. It's website is up to date on products quantity in store.nnThe staff is funny and welcoming. Especially when they see you're a regular nnMy son loves this store because they always have Beyblades. His special interest. We go weekly to see if new ones are in and this store never disappoints lolnnThank you for all you do. We appreciate you all
I've been visiting this Canadian Tire store near Main & Danforth for several years now. The store has a great stock of DupliColor spray paints that I always get for my model cars.nnIn some cases I order a part and pick up from the store in a few days. It's nice to find some parts like light bulbs, door striker, and floor switch for highbeam headlight for my two real 1970s Lincolns in this store. The staff there is friendly & helpful. Especially the blonde guy is really nice!
Overall this location is good. They have a post office and an auto shop which makes it very convenient. I come here to do all the things and they have good parking. The staff are pretty much the same and it’s very simple the energy you give them is what you get back. Be respectful and reasonable and they will be too, that’s been my experience. They carry a significant amount of stock here too so if you are looking for a better laid out and stocked Canadian Tire, this is it.
