I was in tonight looking at new vacuums and one of the amazing employees even helped me see inside the package to see if it was the right fit for me . Thanks so much Chris ! Awesome awesome employee . Super kind as helpful ! And at the cash a very friendly Lisa helped us check out and did a return so easily !
We want to give Brandon 5 stars. Long weekend Monday we were stranded because of defective tire. Without requesting it he dug the donut out of the back which was under a car load of various things. He moved back tire to the front, then installed donut to the back so we could at least use car til next day and get new tire. Thanks Brandon. You made our day.
Lots of stock and hard to beat sale prices. A Nice friendly manager.
Earlier today I was in Canadian Tire to use a coupon to have my oil changed, tire rotation, battery test and brakes checked. When I arrived at the service counter I presented the coupon and the employee who assisted me read the coupon and followed the instructions putting it into the computer. After our discussion I asked Brandon the employee how long would it take and if he could call me when it was completed. He stated about 45 minutes and I asked him if that included the tire rotation and he then stated 1 hr. I thanked him and left the building. Approximately 1 hr later he called to advise the job was done. I went to the counter and from behind me came Brandon and he said you must be here to pick up the vehicle. He showed me that they had done a brake inspection and gave me a quotation for the service. He proceeded to take the paperwork and key and said I’ll walk you to the front to pay for it. On the way to the front my friend said to me, do not pay for it as the tires had NOT been rotated that he had marked the tires and it was not done. My friend was very upset that this was not done and Brandon quickly apologized. We walked out to the vehicle, my friend and my self, and Brandon came from the garage door area. When he got to the door he again apologized and said he would have it done right away. Cut to the end of the story. I believe Brandon knew all along that the tire rotation was not done and was not going to tell me about it at all. If it wasn’t for my friend I would have been none the wiser either. The reason my friend marked the tires was because this had happened to him before with the same vehicle that I had bought from him and he felt it would happen again as it did. In the end I am very unsatisfied with the service I received from Brandon and as a whole Canadian Tire.
Terrible service. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. My parents, who are not as young as they once were, drove almost 2 hours to buy an air conditioner unit. They didn't get the one they were hoping for, but they were initially happy with the one that the sales representative convinced them to buy. Upon arrival home, it worked fine for maybe an hour until it started to emit a loud grinding, screeching sound. Being a repair man for 50 years, my dad removed the cover to see what the problem was. Upon closer inspection it was obvious, even to me, that the plastic housing around the fan had been broken and was sitting slightly pushed in, causing the fan to rub and squeal. This alone was not enough to earn the less than 1 star review Things get dropped and broken, sometimes before they even reach the retail store itself I work in retail, I understand, it happens. But when my parents brought the unit back for a return again, 2 hours each way the customer service representatives said that they were lying, said that my parents must have dropped it also a lie, and refused the return. They then accused them of attempting to return the same unit shortly before that, which was a blatant lie as they had not even driven to Humboldt in months prior to buying the unit. In every retail environment that I have ever worked at if I had displayed this kind of customer service I would be written up, and if it continued I would be fired. I am completely and absolutely disgusted with this experience, and that they would treat my parents in such a deplorable way. My parents are honest, hard working people. They always have been. To be accused, and demeaned like this is beyond unforgivable. I am attaching pictures to show some of the damage there were a LOT of things broken inside once we took a closer look. After they refused their return we saw no reason not to take it apart completely so that my dad could at least attempt to salvage something out of the 700 dollars, and 8 hours worth of driving that the Humboldt Canadian Tire wasted. Also, in case Canadian Tire has this removed from their google account I will be saving this entire post, pictures included, and also will be putting it as a shareable Facebook post, and I will be sending it to every retail watchdog agency that I can. This is beyond unacceptable, and this story will not stop here.
