I recently visited Canadian Tire to get Camry AWD winter tires, rims, and wheel covers for my Toyota and was a little confused about which options were best. Sara helped me through the whole process with patience and honesty. She genuinely explained the differences, guided me through multiple comparisons, and never tried to oversell anything. Her knowledge of both the inventory system and the shelves made it easy to see all the options. I really appreciate her support and would highly recommend hiring staff like her, competent, helpful, and customer-focused. Thanks to Canadian Tire for making the experience so smooth.
I had an amazing experience at Canadian Tire yesterday. I placed an online order and came to the store to pick it up even though it hadn't been processed yet. Unfortunately, I urgently needed the item. I first spoke with Prema while a manager came over - I believe his name is Nick. He checked my order and went to the warehouse to look for it. After some time, he returned with my order and I was able to receive it right away. What an excellent example of great customer service! I'm very grateful to Nick for going the extra mile to help me, and also to Prema for her assistance.
My customer experience at this location was amazing, the lady at the customer service assisted me after I purchased my car's keyless battery. As I was finished changing the battery, the keyless car key dismantled as I was frustrated doing it myself. I'm so grateful that a staff from Parts and Services helped patiently fixed my distmantled parts keyless car key. I really appreciate JIVON, his expertise dealing with customer to act urgently and efficiently, and an analytical problem solver with calmness. Great job today JIVON! Keep it up! Going beyond the call of duty! I was totally impressed by Sarah. Walking into Canadian Tire on Saturday February 14, 2026, Valentines Day, I approached a team member to ask a question.nI have difficulty walking due to a total right knee replacement and a left knee that is bone on bone, so my balance is precarious at best. I walk with a cane and sometimes a walker. I wanted to know if 5 gallon buckets were a seasonal item and still available, but did not want to walk around the store to find them.nWhen I approached Sarah, her face lit up with a big smile! Sarah complimented me on how I was dressed. Wearing plum colored cordoroy pants, shirt, tie and jacket, I was taking my wife out for Valentines day lunch after going to see a movie.nSarah was very attentive and stopped what she was doing to help me with locating the buckets, carrying them to the cashier, allowing me to go to the front of the line where at least 12 other shoppers were waiting patiently. After paying for the buckets, Sarah asked me to wait while she went to get her winter coat. Sarah then escorted me to my truck in the parking lot, carrying the buckets and extending her hand insisting that I hold it to balance myself. Instead of being a typical stubborn proud male, I galdly accepted. When we got to my truck, my wife was very surprised, and pleased, to see me being escorted by Sarah. When Sarah had finished putting the buckets into the truck I gave her a big hug and thanked her for being so helpful, considerate, and professional. During that time I got to know a little about Sarah being a wide receiver while playing competitive footbal, her torn miniscus, dislocated ankle and that her boyfriend lives in North Bay, 4.5 hour drive from Toronto. Sarah's bright eyes, rosy cheeks, brilliant smile and infectious personality was a real treat for me. I have been shopping at the 1901 Eglinton Ave. East Canadian Tire Store for over 25 years. The floor staff, cashiers many I know by name, automotive advisers, Nalini, Kate and Liz, and various auto shop managers and mechanics, have always taken the time to make sure that I am a satisfied customer. I commend Canadian Tire for hiring people who really care about their customers, that are truely genuine and friendly. Sarah is a testimony to that. Thank you Sarah, you made my Valentines Day memorable. Great job!
