The store opens 10/7, 8 am - 6 pm exception of Thu. & Fri. till 8 pm. and Sun. is 9 am to 6 pm. Automotive department offers a wide variety of products. I get most of my hardware here when doing home improvements. Watch out for on sale items that appear in flyers as they are genuine deals. Sales associates super, super helpful when approached. The floor is slightly disorganized presently as they are going through massive improvements. They have added double doors at both entrance & exit which cuts down draft in the winter months. At the new payout tills the footprint seems to have shrunk so when business in the summer months is at its peak I wonder how it's going to work out with line ups.

Dropped off my wheels to get new tires and they said it would take a couple hours. Left work early to pick up 2 days later and they weren't done(they forgot). I was told to come back the next day. When I came back 3 days after initially dropping them off I finally had my tires but they gouged up my wheels pretty badly removing the old weights when they balanced the tires.

Wow! The service at the repair garage was more than what I'm used to, and the price was definitely less than what I'm used to. Extremely helpful staff at the desk. When the mechanic offers to show you how to put your own oil in you know you are in the right place! Also the time they took to fix everything was way less than usual. Thank you to everyone at Canadian Tire for being so thoughtful of my time and money and caring about my safety on my road trip!

There was an obvious coolant leak in our Jeep Liberty as the coolant needed to be topped up every day. I took the Jeep to Lansdowne Automotive, within 20 minutes I was told there was a coolant leak and it was only a matter of time until the coolant leaked into the engine.. basically I was told the Jeep was a write off as it would need the whole engine replaced. I wanted a second opinion; I took the Jeep and the report from the previous shop diagnosing the issue to Canadian Tire. The mechanics at Canadian Tire told me that there was no coolant leak and that the previous shop was trying to make money off us, I asked them to check again and they called back two hours later saying they drove the Jeep and checked again and there was no leak; they actually laughed and said the other garage was flat out wrong. I was happy as this was saving me a vehicle, they then informed me that the spark plugs however did need to be changed for 300$, in comparison to the 4000$ engine replacement I happily paid. Well two weeks have passed and the Jeep completely broke down; I took it back to Canadian Tire and what a shock, they said the Jeep has a coolant leak and will cost 4000$ to fix (they repeated what the first repair shop stated). Even with a paper stating the problem from a real mechanic these people couldn’t confirm the problem. Had I listened to the first mechanic I would have never made 300$ in repairs as the jeep was a write off. Canadian tire didn’t have much to say about their swindle/mistake, no refund was offered that’s for sure. AVOID AVOID AVOID. These people have no clue what they are doing and are a money grab. You would have a better chance getting your vehicle fixed by a Wal-Mart employee in the deli section than to bring it to Canadian Tire
