I had the best experience here on a Sunday morning at the garage. I needed my tires looked at. The guy at the front counter was pleasant to work with and was friendly and informative. I highly recommend thank you guy at the counter also now I know what tires to get next!
Was just in the store on my way up from Calgary to Revelstoke when we discovered that one of the wiper blades was broken. I bought the Bosch set for my VW that was recommended but they didn't fit. Ethan one of the guys in service really helped us out. He let me return the ones I bought and got the head or senior mechanic and the two other apprentices to install the Canadian Tire certified blades...for free! The Certified Gold blades saved the day. Thanks again Ethan in Service you saved the day.
This place has gone under since it’s been taken over. They now have a new policy not allowing bags or purses to be used in the shop. Asking you to leave it with some random person with no liability with all your valuables.nnThese people should be ashamed assuming local people who come to spend their hard earned money are thieves and being treated as such before even entering the store.nnThis is not Canadian Tire policy but rather a local store specific one.nnHoping enough people kick up a fuss and fight back on this ridiculous policy.nnNot sure who you think you are treating local people like this.nnScrew your fraud prevention excuse!!!!nnMost of the staff are extremely rude and overly aggressive also as can be seen from previous reviews!
I really dislike this location and from other reviews it looks like I’m not alone. I bought a mattress protector and got home and realized it was the wrong one, went back 15 minutes later and they wouldn’t let me return or even exchange it. The woman behind the returns counter was so rude. She said something along the lines of no one wants your open stuff - it had barely been open and I repacked it. When I asked if I could just pay for the new one then she just pointed to the checkout line. In hindsight this location has other policies I haven’t seen at other Canadian tires. They have an elaborate bag checking system which seems like overkill and they’re the only location I’ve seen that doesn’t allow dogs. In future we’ll make sure we go to Canadian tire in Calgary before coming up to Canmore. I have definitely returned unused but open things at other Canadian tires.
I am reaching out to express my concern regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your Canmore, Canada, store on November 1st, around 6-7 p.m. I visited to purchase a product that was unavailable, and as I was leaving without any items, the store’s security sensor went off. A staff member followed me outside and requested to inspect my bags, which were empty as I was planning to go to the grocery store afterward.nnDespite showing that I had no items, I was asked to re-enter the store, where another staff member checked my bags a second time, followed by a third inspection. They informed me that a supervisor would come to resolve the issue. However, when the supervisor arrived, I received no apology or solution. Instead, I was told that the sensor issue was “my problem” and was even suggested to change my clothing in case it caused the alarm—a suggestion I found dismissive and unfair.nnTo illustrate a potential problem with the sensor, I pointed out that the alarm went off again with a delay of about five seconds when another customer exited, suggesting a possible sensor malfunction. While I understand the need for security protocols, being inspected multiple times and receiving no apology was frustrating, especially as a paying customer who values respectful treatment.nnI would like to respectfully urge Canadian Tire to review and possibly upgrade the sensor system in your stores to prevent such situations. Additionally, I believe staff training on customer interaction in these scenarios could enhance the overall shopping experience.nnThank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to any steps you may take to prevent similar incidents for other customers.
