I had the best experience here on a Sunday morning at the garage. I needed my tires looked at. The guy at the front counter was pleasant to work with and was friendly and informative. I highly recommend thank you guy at the counter also now I know what tires to get next!
Went to the automotive to ask for help looking for car tint there was 4 people there the one who bothered asking what he could help me with, young ginger boy didn’t bother helping instead insisted that isn’t something you sell there and I should order it online, googled it on my phone and was in stock at that location. Employees are not helpful at all. And no Canadian tire I would not like to speak to the customer service line unless I’m getting something for the inconvenience. Talk to your workers and make sure they are helpful and doing their jobs as it seems I’m not the only person with this issue.
I've spent probably close to $10k at this location, over the past 8-9 years. I can't even encapsulate all the bad experiences in one review. This store has gone downhill over the last year. The lady at customer service makes it abundantly clear the customer is an annoyance. The staff roaming the aisles also treat you as an annoyance. God forbid you ask where an item is when it's not where it should be. One guy questioned why I wanted a particular type of paint. I shouldn't have to explain myself, but I do because the people at this store look down upon customers as dumb consumer,s unable to find or buy the right product they think they need. They also tightened their return policy. I chose this place over Amazon when I could, and I now regret doing so. Now I'll avoid this place as much as possible. The Cochrane location has been better, but for Canmore it's Home hardware first, then Amazon.
I go to this Canadian tire often. As we entered recently, my mother and I had our purses and were told we would have to leave them at the front. We refused because all of our important cards and documents are in it. Due to there not being easy access between the store and garden center, we had to go back and forth past this multiple times. Then at check out, the woman asked how many of the same item we had. She made us show her that the inside of it was empty. I understand that theft exists but this is no way to treat your customersnnAlso while I don’t blame the workers at the garden center, the way it is organized is absurd. Their deals are very specific so you can’t mix and match the same plants if there is a 2 for $X deal and the inches of the plant matter where it won’t ring up the deal if they are different. There’s so many people and only one worker sometimes, they aren’t able to help you figure out the deal and send you back and forth to figure it out yourself. Very disappointing in what it seems Canadian tire is becoming
Bad. The auto shop sucks. Nobody can schedule an appointment to save thier lives first of all. Took my car in there about 8 months ago because it screeches and sometimes won't start. They told me there's nothing wrong with it and I didn't pay anything. Waste of time. Went the whole winter with the screeches and car having trouble starting. Went in again recently to find out why and was under the impression that they were gonna fix it. Again, nothing was done. Paid to get them to tell me what was wrong with it and had to ask them a few times before they would give me any information. They said they cleaned the battery so it should start now but when I left the garage it still had trouble starting. Nothing gets done here. I can't count the number of times over the years I've wasted my time here. I called once to get it looked at and told them the check engine light was on. The guy on the phone actually asked me to descibe the check engine light. I thought it was a joke. I'm tired of this place. I'm not coming here anymore. Also if you wanna get your oil changed plan ahead because they won't have an opening for you until next year. Are they really that busy
