Order a bbq online for pickup at the Hanover location, had online confirmation that my Item is ready for pickup, drive 40 minutes to pick up and find out my item was given to another client by mistake, Dan, the store manager refuses to call another location and proceeds to credit back my purchase, I request a raincheck as Item purchased was on special at time of purchase, said he could not provide that. I asked for some sort of compensation for my 80 minute drive and gas, maybe a gift card, he refuses and says to pick a different bbq of similar price, I said no, as I researched my purchase and wanted my choice, manager becomes argumentative, so I decided to walk away from my worst Canadian Tire experience, never going back to that location at least.

From my first phone call to inquire about winter tires to install and payment Irene in Automotive was absolutely amazing to deal with. She was very courteous on the phone and went out of her way to make sure the tires were in stock. When I dropped the vehicle off she welcomed me with a smile and charming personality. I also completed payment with Irene. I can’t say thank you enough, I hope your efforts are well rewarded, nice to see, Merry Christmas, While waiting for my repair I walked every aisle through the store over about 1:45min, this was my first experience with the Hanover location. Very nice store, most departments are very well organized however there seems to be a tremendous amount of stock carts blocking aisles and product throughout the store. You can tell which departments have strong employee coverage vs others. I know the transition to Christmas can be a challenge and space as well, but the TV mountain and home organization / mats could use some attention. I will definitely be back to shop at this location, very well done
My online order said it was supposed to be ready by 3:30 today. It's not until I called and wasted my day going there, that they said 24 hours. The manager didn't want to go outside to get my item.
All of the staff are super friendly, their sports section has such a wide range of options ex. Basketballs/equipement, baseball, hockey, football etc... amazing store, 100% recommend
