Canadian Tire

Great place fully stocked with a wide range and variety of very useful items. Canadian Tire has been a staple in the community for many decades which speaks volumes to the quality and service it provides. Highly Recommended!

Brought in my car for a tire change with obvious signs of wheel alignment issues unbeknownst to me at the time but clear to a mechanic. They didnt even bother to ask or recommend an alignment inspection, they just put on the tires and let me go. Of course, it is what I paid for and they put on the tires, but for the price of 180 dollars just for labor I would have expected more professionalism and a little bit of conversation. I went to another shop after that and they did the same thing for 60, read OBD, recommended exhaust repair… If you want your car handled well, dont bring it here.

Was able to find what we needed on our through the app, however the stock was off between the app and what was actually on the shelves. Not just by 1 or 2, but like 4 to 6. I think some of this was due to theft as we had found an item we wanted but couldn't purchase it because the package had been ripped open and a part was missing. At least the check out was a nice experience!

i just want to share my appreciation for the sports sales associate that helped my family and i today Feb 9, 2023 , Cody. thank you for helping us choose the perfect bike for my niece! there was no moment where we felt rushed and felt like a burden as we have felt before in the store a couple months ago. he was ready to help at all times with a smile. thank you, Cody for restoring our trust in the store! hope your boss/es sees this and see how great of an asset you are to their business!

I bought a Shark vacuum cleaner in the store for $499CAD. I wish I had checked the prices before I used it. After the purchase I realized other stores offer newer and better equipped models for $250-300CAD. Customer service said Canadian Tire no longer has the price match policies. I feel so disappointed and tricked. It is a huge difference!!! I recommend to double check the prices before any purchase or better buy things in other stores.

Not that they will improve but, Canadian tire at this location would have people line up and still assigned only one or two staff to help customers with issues that could take 20min each. for customer service

I asked for help to get an item that was not on the shelf. The nice young man went to the back and got one for me. Very helpful! Canadian tire has great sales too!

The Party City balloon stand really makes this location special, and especially during the lockdown, it is a bright burst of happiness. Some of the other departments I noted that were exceptional included tools, gas fireplaces, tents, and outdoor play areas. Another cool factor is that each department had a large, accessible catalogue to browse the offerings. I absolutely recommend shopping here. They even have online pickup lockers, as pictured!

Definitely must not come here for tire change unless you wanna wait more than 2 hours to change tires on a car that takes less than 40 minsapprentice time a professional would be even quicker.. and the main thing is that I booked an appointment. It doesn't make sense at all to keep the car hanging in air and not work on it. This was the first and last time me having a tires change with them. I was forced to buy tires from them because otherwise they won't give me the warranty on the tires I bought from them.

Worst Canadian Tire store in Calgary for so many reasons. So glad they're independently owned as we'll definitely be shopping at other locations only from now on. Staff are beyond unhelpful and online "in-stock" numbers literally never match up with what's in store and staff don't care enough to help you search for or find things. This doesn't happen at other Canadian Tire locations. Calling for help takes forever and that's only IF they show up in the end. This store needs management to get themselves sorted out. They're losing so much money because of how it's run.
