After experiencing a few good years 2000 - 2014 with CBI Home Care Agency with other seniors...this past month of May 2022 has been the worse. "they" decided my Mothers 91 yrs main caregiver was working too much overtime....so they switched her Tuesday & Thursday evening visit. And replaced her with an incompetent caregiver. Without telling myself or my Mother Not that my Mother would understand, early dementia. So when the new caregiver came she refused her because all during Covid my Mother was told "DO NOT LET ANYONE INTO YOUR APT" needless to say she missed taking her medication with dinner that evening. When I finally got to the bottom of this major screw up...it was all my Mothers fault??? The new caregiver explained she was refused entry by my confused 91 yr old early dementia Mother...yet because she did not get in to her apt. she did not give her her medication?! Her ONLY ONE JOB? But according to her...she had done her job? How? By not getting into her apt? Not giving her medication? The caregiver had no idea what her job was...not well trained. Even after explaining her only JOB when visiting my Mother....they, CBI HOME HEALTH decided to change the time of our new caregiver???....My Mother needs to take 2 pills with her dinner meal. They changed this visit to 4:00 pm and after I explained more than once first to the office then to the new caregiver it was as if I was talking Greek??!! My Mother eats dinner between 5:00 - 6:00 pm NOT 4:00 pm We have finally got another new caregiver and after a few explanations and time changes with many phone calls to talk to a Supervisor, Co-Ordinator... anyone in charge who knows what they are doing?! This has been too frustrating, caregivers need to be better trained & ALWAYS communicate with a family member to make sure the Client understands and the caregiver understands what their job is. Hire & train more staff, pay them better than minimum wage. 2022, I am not looking forward to when it will be my turn to need the assistance of CBI & their caregivers?! God help me.
I applied for job position and they offered me the position. I resigned for my previous organisation and completed whole joining with CBI and then they call me tell me that I cannot have the job. That is just a ridiculous. They did fraud.
CBI provides my homecare one night per week. When my PSW went on vacation for 2 months, a replacement was not found and I had to go without. The attitude was "tough luck". I eagerly awaited my PSW's return but they forgot to put her back on my schedule when she did return, so I went an 4 extra weeks without care! I was promised a follow-up, but my manager never contacted me, even though I left her 3 messages. My manager Tresha Singh was very adamant about meeting me and meeting my needs, but once she did her initial consult check, she never communicated with me again. Now, CBI has informed my social worker that they wont be servicing me past tonight. Well, my PSW didn't show up tonight either. In the past they have sent PSWs who didn't know what a refrigerator was or where to locate it she thought it was in the bedroom whilst she was standing right in front of it in the kitchen. PSWs like that cannot provide care if they can't even find the fridge, let alone pass you what you ask for from within it. I'm a bed bound person living alone. Counting on CBI is a sure way to have your quality of life and lifespan deteriorate fast. They should simply give a euthanasia option instead of suffering clients like this. It's reprehensible.
The staff may be professional, but very low manner...... I strongly believe manner is the main key of successful in any kind of profession carries

They are very unorganized and you never know when some one will pop in. Some don't have a clue what to do!!
