I have purchased two dining tables and chairs and bar stools from Canadel over the last 10 years. ( one set was for my daughter). I have completely positive experiences. There are so many options on sizes and colors it is difficult to decide. Their Udesign program makes it easier to visualize what the finished product will look like. The tables have a catalyzed finish, which makes them more family friendly. The antiqued finish hides a multitude of daily wear and tear. The chairs are very comfortable and I’ve reupholstered them for a color change I would highly recommend their product to anyone! I also love the fact that it is a North American company rather than made in China!

I recently purchased a coffee and end table set made by Canadel. The set looked good in the Lazboy show room and I did not expect any issues. I was very excited to receive the furniture and had ordered the coffee table to be a custom smaller size to best fit the room. When it arrived, my happiness quickly disappeared upon seeing that one end of the coffee table was damaged with both corners apparently crushed and then stained over top. The two end tables also had manufacturer defects as they wobbled, indicating that the company had not checked that they were level/in balance before leaving their factory. There are apparently issues with both the quality control at this company and the person who constructed the table — only someone without pride in their work would allow defective product like this leave the factory and make its way to the customer. I want my money back so that I could instead buy a quality set elsewhere, but Lazboy would not allow it and are making me accept a new order from Canadel. I really don’t want another set from them and am not confident in what will come back. I would not recommend this furniture company. To the owners of this company: you need to slow down your manufacturing process to add more time for quality inspection on every piece that you make — and you should fire the person who is responsible for making this set, they are damaging your reputation and don’t care.

As a retailer, I can say that we love Canadel. I have seen and delivered over 200 sets, from all the collections, in the last 3 years and have only had 2 issues. Both were taken care of immediately by Canadel. I highly recommend!

Very poor warranty service. They refused to warranty a chair because they said the damage could not have happened, their product is too good. Ha Chair is only 11 months old and well within the warranty period, AND THEY CHOSE NOT TO REPLACE OR REPAIR. Never buy from them. In the pictures you can cleary see they did not use any wood glue in the joints. I will not recommend them to anybody. JUNK SERVICE. How ever thanks to DaRVIN FURNITURE, WHO STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND AGREED TO PAY FOR THE NEW CHAIR, Hooyah to Darvin Furniture.

We were told our order would take 6-12 weeks. Well, got the 3 stools in under a month. The order reflected that! Could see staples, fabric areas looked 'pulled' and the wood stain was only done on the areas you could see. Underneath, the stools were unfinished. We paid over 1400$ for 3 stools. Very disappointed in them. The business we bought them from had to come to take photos of work that wasn't done properly and then told the fabric "is like that" and proceeded to poke it back through the defected areas. Not sure if this company is what it once was. Will never order from this company again.
