Standing at the front of the line now for 20 minutes. Sloths move quicker than the staff here. The lineup is huge... a second teller came over to help the first, then promptly left, when she could have easily stayed to reduce the congestion. God, why god, must I pick up my mail, in this sad, sad place?

Ordered a package from the US. Canada Post received my package on March 25. Package was to arrive April 2.On April 15, I tried to create a "ticket" but could not because Canada Post's complaint system does not recognize a USPS tracking number. I can track it but I can't create a "ticket" to solve the problem(1st dead end). Next, I try to create a "ticket" in the USPS system. In order to do this, their system asks for the destination zip code and will not except my postal code(2nd dead end). Next, I had to google "Canada Post 1-800" as you can't find a phone number on their web site(not that big of a deal but adds to the frustration). Called them April 16 and was told that yes they do have the package but that there is a problem with it(she said that there may be a problem with the bar code). Was told to call the sender and have them look into it because the receiver could not initiate the "ticket" to get the problem fixed. Called the sender and they were told by Canada Post that it will take 25 days to investigate the problem. I could't believe the answer so I called Canada Post again. They told me that "yes it would take 25 days to find the package. It is a very large building. It could be anywhere." Then it will take another week to make it out to our local post office where they will send out a "parcel pick up" tag four days after it arrives. I estimate that I may receive the package the week of May 20. As a side note, Canada Post is cutting the only employees that care about their customers and getting mail where it needs to go on time. What Canada Post will be left with is faceless people that know how to follow processes but have no idea how to actually create a satisfied customer. How could I expect more of them? They are carbon copies of Canada Post management.
