Someone ordered something and got it shipped to my address, canada post was the only shipping method and the adress was auto generated by canada postnThe postal code automatically entered by camada post was the older one, so not the correct onenThe package never made it to the house, got sent back to the office and immediately sent back to shipper.nNobody at canada post even attempted to get this package deliverednThis is laziness at it's best
Unfortunately I have to leave this poor review, as even though I am disabled and unable to make it to the post office on time for my packages all the time, they are denying me their disability option of having my mail delivered to my door because of where I live. It come to the point where I am shutting down my p.o. box sending my mail to another address and shipping my parcels and packages through another,more expensive, company. The workers are kind and try their best, but their hands are tied tight with red tape and no one else to contact for high up help. This review is against the branch itself and not the employees.
Recieved a message that my package was delivered , then received another message saying that a slip was dropped off saying you pick up my package , I called the post office to say I didn’t receive a slip and can I come pick up my package and she said yes , I drove Into town and the refused to give me my package without the slip. I said I called and you told me it’s ok I don’t need it , so now I have to go back home wait till my mail gets delivered usually after 5pm and then come back Into town TOMORROW to get my package ! This office is a joke! Always a problem !
I always get notifications saying that my package is delivered when it is not and they can never have anyone double check to see where the package is. Every time I complain, my package magically ends up in my mailbox the next day. They also never have the right keys for the bigger compartments for the bigger packages, the key always opens the wrong box or doesn't work at all. If I could choose which company my package ships with, I would never choose Canada post. Terrible service, I'm suspecting that they employees are stealing the packages and then holding them to see if anyone complains, if they don't they keep it but if they do complain they deliver it the next day to stay out of trouble. It's annoying that they can't be any action taken against the terrible service. DONT SAY A PACKAGE IS DELIVERED IF IT ISNT JUST TO MEET YOUR NUMBERS.
Shelburne post office staff are very rude. I recently moved to the town of Shelburne and was trying to forward my mail, only to be told to call customer service myself.... mind you the staff member was on the phone with customer service, she was not willing to hand me the phone. So I had to call and wait on hold for about 10min in order to speak with someone who told me to go visit my local post office....nnAlso when ordering online packages from Amazon, or other retailers. The packages are never delivered to my doorstep. No slips left etc, only to find a few weeks later a “final notice” left in my mail box that I have not picked up my package.nnWhen I go to the post office and ask where is my first notice or why wasn’t my package left on my porch. No one has a answer for me.nnOverall I got better service Brampton, here I was thinking small town, better friendly service... it’s simply rude service here at Shelburne post office.
