Absolute joke, and a disastrous service to Canadians. Had to send something urgent to my elderly mother. Paid express post and insured the package value of up to $100. The package value was $300. Sure enough the package never arrived. Went through numerous phone calls and spoke to numerous supervisors who confirmed it did not arrive. The package was tracked up to Ottawa. Once it got in the hand of the postmanthat was supposed to deliver it to my mothers home, this is where the package disappeared. One of the supervisors even hinted that it may have been stolen by one of their workers. The package contained a$300 gift card for a grocery store because my elderly mother was starving and didn’t have food while I was working on contract In another province. The supervisor reassured me that my package was insured up to $100 and I could get that reimbursement. When I went ahead to apply for the reimbursement but I never got it. The reimbursement was supposed to be for a total of a $119. I got a $19 paycheck. What was the point of me paying extra money for insurance of the package if I was not even reimbursed because Canada Post lost my package? Absolute joke of a mail service. Next time I will use other more reliable delivery services. What was the most disgusting was that I was passed around to 6 different supervisors who all told me I would get a refund but I never did. They couldn’t even tell me what happened to my package. And remember I paid express security mail for this. months after the incident. I was still calling to ask for a refund but I finally just gave up. Never again. Incompetent joke of a service.
They lost our parcel December 26 and have harassed us to prove that it wasn’t delivered even though there’s no delivery scan it’s still says out for delivery in March 2024! We purchased insurance we handed it over they lost it, and now they are dragging their feet. Don’t ship anything of value with Canada Post even with insurance they will do everything possible to deny paying the claim and blame you for them losing the parcel. Absolute insanity. Their insurance is a scam!
Last year, 6 of my ordered parcels dissapeared after being handed over to Canada Post. Where are my international parcels? Their services are paid for with our taxes, yet they throw our stuff away and use the service to generate income. Express shipping gets delivered in a couple of days, so there are resources, but not for the purpose they got paid for with our taxes. They force Chinese sellers to pay them for express shipping, else they throw our stuff away. Canada post do not honor the international mail delivery treaty. I wish the FEDS or the CPA steps up because our property is being stolen and destroyed regulary without any consequences to the destroyers.
They had the supremely simple task of taking the elevator up two floors. I buzzed them in the building, waited, and nothing. No knock on the door, no notice of delivery card anywhere to be seen, just left with my package.
I have ordered stamps a few times to save my time from going to the post office…. You literally cannot select “no signature required”nWait at home all day for them to arrive, only to peek my head outside and see a “delivery attempt” was made.nNow I have to go to the post office… again…. And wait in line… to receive my stamps that I should have just bought at the post office in the first place.nnAlso… I couldn’t submit this review unless I chose a start rating…. To be clear…nnZero stars.nn*slow clap*
