Wednesday Morning not very busyn. Waiting in line for 15 minutes to get a number. Then Sat chair for maybe 30 minutes tops. HAD Correct pass port renewal form completed. ALL DONE in 60 minutes.nPassport to show up in 2 weeks. Very good Passport service .
Beautiful building inside and outside.nThis is a government building with lots of various government departments within.nThere is also a service Canada and edmonton passport offices on the floor.nThe building is very clean and well maintained. It has a food court in the basement.nThere is a reception where you can speak to security personnel to provide you with guidance if required.nThere are paid parking around the building.nYou can make use of bathroom within this building.nAccessibility is well planned for the building.
went here to submit a passport application yesterday July 21, 2025. one thing that really concerns me is that there's no proper seating in the partitioned queue line I got in. there was no consideration put towards those with mobility issues. the necessity of needing to line up in the queue earlier than when the services opened so you're not stuck waiting for too long when operations do begin makes for a LOT of standing; not everyone is able-bodied enough to stand and wait for long periods of time.nnthere's a fixture I noticed later on that could be sat on, but that's NOT the same thing as providing proper chairs to people. if you weren't near that fixture you either had to keep standing in line, or have someone save your place in line while you walked somewhere else out of the queue to take a seat.nnI witnessed another person lying down on a bench while their partner held their place in line. later on a security guard came up towards the person on the bench, presumably asking them to leave. their partner in the queue had to speak up, explaining that they were lying down because of a medical issue.nnthere's plenty of seating inside the actual processing room thankfully, but the lack of thought in giving people a place to sit in the outside queue line + the security guard assuming that person was someone that needed to be shooed out is infuriating. I would seriously recommend adding seats in the queue line + giving bias recognition training to the guard, so that things like this don't happen again.
Beautiful building. Passport office has the slowest moving queue. High staff to people ratio, but productivity level Pettu low. Bring your pop corn nOr book appointment before you show up
Very clean and tidy all the staff is fluent in English and French as well they will ready to assit you and provide information. The building itself is a work of art. Thanks for the help service
