Beautiful building inside and outside.nThis is a government building with lots of various government departments within.nThere is also a service Canada and edmonton passport offices on the floor.nThe building is very clean and well maintained. It has a food court in the basement.nThere is a reception where you can speak to security personnel to provide you with guidance if required.nThere are paid parking around the building.nYou can make use of bathroom within this building.nAccessibility is well planned for the building.
On December 22, 2025, at approximately 3:46 p.m. I attended the office before the posted closing time of 4:00 p.m. and spoke with a front desk employee who identified herself as “Sanou.” I was informed that they were no longer taking clients. I asked to be entered into the system so I could wait, as the office doors were still open and clients were still being allowed inside. I asked whether I was being refused service, and the employee stated that I was not. I then requested to speak with a manager, to which she responded that she was the superior and did not report to anyone. She instructed me to take a seat, but I requested first to be placed in the system so my visit would be properly recorded. This request was refused, and I was not provided service or a clear explanation of why I could not be added to the system despite arriving before closing time. I believe this interaction was unprofessional and inconsistent with reasonable expectations of public service delivery that MY TAXES fund. I am concerned about: Being denied service despite arriving before closing Refusal to place me in the system Lack of access to a supervisor or escalation process Dismissive and unclear communication from staff, it’s such a shame that a taxpayer will be treated this way, I’ve honestly ahead to file a complaint but was told I may not be given an update, well here’s a good review to alert taxpayers.
Wednesday Morning not very busyn. Waiting in line for 15 minutes to get a number. Then Sat chair for maybe 30 minutes tops. HAD Correct pass port renewal form completed. ALL DONE in 60 minutes.nPassport to show up in 2 weeks. Very good Passport service .
Busy place with very helpful staff. Passport office appears quite busy but efficient. Nice food area downstairs with several different sites to choose from.
I went there to take photo for my one month old grandson for the passport nice place, very neat and clean. The cafeteria is also good but a bit costly. Near by is Edmonton convention center too.
