Been going here since I was a kid, I love the complex I wish they'd have kept the old hot tub/ sauna areas as well so capacity wasn't always at max but it is great. Alot of decent upgrades to the facility, would like to see expanded hot tub for sure.
Lots of choices for rooms to use a treadmill in. Great pool, with a decent water slide. It needs a few more day use lockers as there were not many available during the a low times I visited. The weight rooms feel a little crowded, but have plenty of choices per decks and free weights to choose from. The saunas and hot tub do fill up fast, though.
It's always an amazing, and relaxing experience there at the Complex. I start with the pool just for a couple of minutes, then I go to the spa thinking in nothing, filling the hot water in sll the body, finally sauna end the works. You'll feel like a new person. By the way, there's a good gym, excellent machines, dumbells, good people on front desk. One of my favorite places in the city.
My grand children were in they're camp and it was great to see so many happy faces The slides they show were awesome we took a self tour of the facilities I would like to know the temperature of the pool since I have arthritis
Amazing about of cash raised for conquer the tower Brave participants that conquer the tower Plunge on November 10th 2016 $28,889 was raised for a 5-year running event which has raised $100,002 pro-kids and the Thunder Bay diving club would like to extend a sincere thank you to all sponsors participants donors and volunteers who made conquer the tower a tremendous success.
Had my sons 4th birthday here and it was AMAZING! All kids had a great time and parents too!
They have a new hot tub right out where the pools are, 2 saunas now right out where the pools are & they have locks for you to borrow to use on the lockers there to lock your stuff up. The front desk staff are soo nice & helpful. The thunder slide is out of order right now though.
The pools are the best thing about this place. Other than that it’s a bit dated and the layout was a bit confusing with the fitness facilities but still functional if there are few other options around. Co-ed sauna.
Great place, gym recently renovated, all new equipment and machines. Great track for a run, but very humid and hot. If your training for the Boston marathon ok..but if your heat / humidity tolerance is low don't push yourself. Two identical large saunas on pool deck with a huge hot tub beside make for a great after workout relaxation . Something for everyone.
Fantastic complex with different equipment, big swimming pool and many more exercises to plan and do
