Sites are ok but not much privacy. Views of the water was great. Amazing sunsets. Facilities were ok. Coin showers.
Great place, bathrooms really clean, beautiful views. The only 2 things are: bathroom can be temperate a nice feature when you reach the end of the season close to zero degrees temperature and a midrange priced.
Amazing camping ground. Well set up. Clean. Very friendly. Quiet. Animal friendly. Loads to do on the campground itself or even outside the campground. Recommended if in the area. Will deffinetly be going again next year ! Thank you for having us and have a nice end of season guys :
Stayed overnight with our trailer. Simply wonderful views, big lots, nice mixed beach. Showers are.coin op. We came off season but.this place must be.packed in the summer. Nice restaurants and shopping in town.
Nice view but seaside spots are rare! Mostly pull through style without defined boundaries. People do not respect privacy or camp areas and there seems to be no curfew or anyone to supervise it! Noice by kids until midnight!
Go camping wife and I, off season, beautiful asthonishing Autumn colors and campground almost empty, so we get any spot we want we chose. Nature is all beauty in October. Air pure, less people. I was birn in Carleton 1956 my family left I was 1 year old, now cameback for the third time, travel in a 20' Dodge camper van 1987. Had the best time ever.
The very rude manager of this place came to my camper, slammed my window at 7:15am accusing us of having stayed overnight. I got here close to 6:30am for a walk I showed him my gps log and he did not want to see saying that my “friend” another motorhome besides me told him I was here overnight. He wanted to give me a warning although it was after 7am and threatened me of a ticked if he saw my Van again, then I started recording him and, again, I tried to show my gps log. He left with no warning given as I had him on camera. How he can give me a warning at 7am in the morning I’m allowed from 6am with no proof I did something wrong. I am so glad my coachman records everything I do. I’m now about to make a formal complain to the management. Because of this I’m not returning to this place and I am going to spend my money somewhere else. I’m happy my Van record all my trips.
Very comfortable place with a high level of cleanliness. The scenery is gorgeous
Great place for the family, clean and safe. Small children will adore the playground.
Great place, big campsites right on the water. Paved bicycle trail from the camping to the town. Many great restaurants nearby.
