Camp Ma-He-Tu

Excellent camp! It helps girls bond with each other and makes you more braver. I feels like home and the meals are very sufficient. The counselors are very friendly and cares for your camper's safety. There are many fun activities and you will never get bored.

Incredible. You just need to go to know for yourself, everyone is so nice and it's so cheap. This will be my third year and I have never gotten homesick.

Camp Ma He Tu is not fancy in any way. It is a lovely group of Lutherans that want to give girls a wholesome, simple and natural classic camp experience, for an extraordinarily reasonable fee. It's in the pristine and breathtakingly beautiful Harriman, NY State Park. It's a great environment that allows girls to bond and help each other. It's very sweet. No gadgets of any kind are allowed. Even if a smartphone is snuck in, there is no service at all there. This is my daughter's second year there, and she absolutely loves it. From making friends, to activities, to swimming in their lake, and awesome food, she can't wait to go back. My wife and I are always impressed with how centered, confident, and mature sounding our girl is after just 2 weeks there.

I go every year for a month. I only get homesick once. And that's on my birthday. I have made so many friends there, and the counselors are family. Everyone is awesome and the activities are fabulous. I strongly recommend going. You are never going to want to leave.
