Our hosts were incredible. Lauren and John I hope I spelled those right! Were so welcoming and had it set up nicely. Breakfast was delicious. The room and bathroom were clean and we can't wait to come back! Also the coffee/tea bar was great! We drink coffee/teas morning, noon and night and it was wonderful having that available! Thanks so much!
Very friendly atmosphere, and great food! The service was phenomenal and the owners are very kind. Had a cup of soup, a delicious 1/3 lbs bacon cheeseburger, some good coffee and a warm, gooey brownie desert all for less than $20. It was the first place I decided to eat at in Philipsburg and I will absolutely be returning.
Got seated and got our tea quickly. We ordered a couple of cheeseburgers, simple right? Never saw the waitress again until 45 minutes later. Mind you, we were 5ft from the register station and 10ft from the cook. After 45 minutes, someone noticed we didn't have food and low and behold the cook said "SOMEONE" through our order slips in the garbage....Got the tea on the house, woohoo...We left!
Seated quickly. Got our tea fairly soon. Ordered burgers when we got our drinks. Were seated close to grill and cook, only 10 ft. from cash register. 3 waitresses moving around us. 45 minutes after being seated someone noticed we were out of tea and had no food.We were told our order slip had accidently been put in the trash. Someone should have noticed a bit sooner or we shouldn't have been overly polite..... your call.
This is a very quaint restaurant that was originally a hardware store in it's first existence. The original freight elevator is still in existence with the large gear and motor exposed. The food was good and although it did take a bit of time to receive it the atmosphere was pleasant. Our service was good as well with a local high school student helping to deliver the daily menu. There are not a lot of selections for lunch but what they do serve is good quality. I would definitely stop and have a burger again. If you are in the area it's worth the stop to see small town Americana.
What a lovely place! We happened in there for some lunch while out property hunting and were so pleased. The owner and waitress made us feel right at home and the food was homemade with nice options. I loved the decor, so warm and inviting. Definitely check it out!
Had a wonderful breakfast there the other day! The staff was very accommodating and kind. The bread they served with breakfast was to die for! We had eggs, potatoes and bacon which was good. The Belgian waffle was delicious. Good coffee. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Will definitely be back.
November 27 was a cold night. My wife and I shared a meatloaf dinner at Camp Creek and it was great... Way better than the $8.25 cookie at the candy store across the street. Back to Camp Creek.. We also had dinner November 28. That’s right 2 nights in a row. This time we shared a Chicken Fried steak. It was also great. So if your looking for a nice place we’re the owner shows you to your table and you can see the owners artwork hanging on the walls this is it. When it’s freezing outside you may need to have the soup heated up a little more. My wife like likes it really hot. It’s not a bar but you can try the raspberry beer.
Absolutely wonderful B&B experience. The rooms are comfortable and the whole place feels like home. Breakfast is incredible- especially homemade biscuits to die for with fresh jams. The owners are attentive and very friendly, overall I’m just blown away! Highly recommend staying here. Not to mention the quaint town with beautiful surroundings. I look forward to coming back!
We loved it!! It was cute, clean and the owners were very sweet!!!! The Breakfast was great and they were very accommodating! We could only stay for one night but would go back in a heartbeat!
