I purchased some high end laminate by Pravda in December and was helped out with the amount to order and was given a great price and was left with a half case after I installed myself. Very happy with the quality and amount, would buy it for my next place I like it do much. I returned this past month for some carpeting to do 2 bedrooms and ended up getting some Shaw carpet for a great price and great warranty. I was out of my wheels house to install myself so they did it for me, great install case I’m very picky and they brought that 13ft roll or two up two flights of stairs like clock work. Great install guys! And special thanks to Dave.

With 3 young boys, I wanted flooring that was not only durable, but also looked nice. I went for the laminate flooring service here having heard about how durable the products and services were at Cambridge Floors. Much to my relief as a mother, they followed through with excellent service and now I don’t have to stress about my kids and their playing habits!
Recently I had a wonderful experience with Cambridge Floors. I was kindly greeted in their showroom. It was a professional and comfortable atmosphere which carried through during the entire project. I was very impressed when I asked them to measure for my new laminate floors and they came to my home just an hour later. We went over what my home required and he offered solutions to get the job finished the way I wanted it. He even suggested they could make a custom trim for going around the base of my kitchen cabinets. The trim is a good match for my existing cabinet doors. Everything looks great. The estimate was promptly given and I considered it to a fair and competitive one. Communication and scheduling went very smoothly as Gordon was very easy to deal with. The installers were professional, hardworking and focused. They were respectful and a pleasure to have in my home. I am very happy with the final look and the entire experience. I recently moved to Vancouver, remodeled my apartment, which will be rented as an airbnb as well. My original plan was to get laminate flooring but the staff from Cambridge Floors recommended me to use engineered hardwood flooring instead. I was quite surprised by the great result and thanks for their professional advice which suited my underlying preferences!
Sales and Installation: 5 stars Management / Staff: 2 stars We chose Cambridge floors as they were a local company keen to accept a smaller tiling and carpeting project in our home. The salesperson Dave was amazing, worked incredibly hard for us to keep it in our budget, and went above and regular duties to make sure we got everything we were happy with. When the installation was scheduled, the installer Pedro did an excellent job, the room had some walls that were not completely straight and he got the carpet and tile to trace the edges exactly, and everything looked great and 100% professional. Absolutely no complaints here, and I could go on about how impressed I was with the work these fine people did. However the other aspects of the business were disappointing. On the weekend when we visited the showroom, we found the staff to not really have the resources to guide us on pricing, every time we needed to find a price on something, it would them them considerable time to look it up, and often they would not even be able to find the price. We ended up spending a lot of time waiting around, only to then find carpet out of our price range. It felt like it would be worth their while to catalog all the items in the showroom with the prices so they can access them right away for customers. The biggest let down was the final step of completing the transition between the tile and carpet, as this could not be done until we installed the door - this was explained to us after the flooring was done that the installer would need to return to do this step. The door was installed roughly a month after the flooring was completed. Upon calling Cambridge floors, I explained this to the manager, who didn't really seem to understand what I was asking about, and told me they were completely swamped. This concerned me as this is just small finishing step that the installer could likely squeeze in before going to another larger job. After some back and forth I am told that the manager will coordinate a time and call me back. After 2 weeks I never hear from them, which missed the available times I gave where we had someone at home to let the installer in the house during the day. In the end I installed the transition piece myself as it wasn't too difficult and was fed up of trying to fight to get this part done. Due to the poor administration of the company I had to basically finish the carpet fitting myself, even though this probably would have taken the installer less than 30mins to do. Just a disappointing end to an otherwise good installation.
Dave and the installers explained how the process of having our original hardwoods refinished would work. The guys were quick, friendly & did VERY nice work. Our floors are absolutely amazing looking & an awesome upgrade. We hope to work with Cambridge Floors in the future to refinish our three bedrooms as well.
