Took 15 minutes to order a drink the guy tried his best to ignore me, not the pub i remember, do better.

No great common area to sit and do some work at. Bathrooms are pretty old. But the staff are nice, and the rooms are very clean. In a great location. COVID precautions are great.

Had two surprisingly quiet nights here! Loved Oreo the cat who lives on the first floor. I appreciated how the women's washrooms were always locked.

For the most part, I had a positive experience. Clean room for the right price. Hostel changed its policy on shared bunks during my stay despite having assured me otherwise. I understand given the circumstances and overall, I was satisfied with my stay and the staff.

Love this historic hostel. Great price to stay and good specials.
