About

Calvary Cemetery provides peace, comfort and tranquility. We are affiliated with the Diocese of Sioux City.

Story

Nestled in the Loess Hills on the northern side of town, Calvary Cemetery provides peace, comfort and tranquility. We are honored to work with those who have chosen our services and strive to provide quality care that exceeds expectations.

Calvary Cemetery has provided a final resting place for many Christian believers since its beginnings in 1870. It is important to note one does not need to be Catholic to be buried in Calvary Cemetery.

Christ promised us life eternal if we would only follow him. We offer our prayers to all who are buried within these sacred grounds.

Products

Choosing a permanent marker as a tribute to a loved on is a true testament to that person’s legacy. At Calvary Cemetery, our staff collaborates with the family every step of the way to ensure the final product is a proper reflection of the person’s life and spirit.

Our partnerships with two national & international companies affords us the opportunity to offer a wide variety of bronze markers in a broad assortment of shapes, sizes and colors. We offer competitive pricing and financing options are available as well.

While some families may choose to purchase a marker with another company, Calvary Cemetery makes every effort to accommodate their requests. However, Calvary Cemetery cannot guarantee or be held liable for outside vendors’ work. Purchasing a marker directly from Calvary Cemetery ensures quality service and maintenance. We pride ourselves in offering professional and prompt customer service when families are in need of our expertise.

Creating a permanent marker can and should be a lengthy process; it is not something a family should feel rushed or pressured to do immediately following the death of a loved one. Markers are built to withstand the test of time and the weather of northwest Iowa; selecting the appropriate personalized details on a marker can be a heartwarming task the family focuses on for quite some time following the loved one’s passing.

This is where I learned to drive in reverse. Nice soft curbs, curvy roads, lots of hills, and none of the residents seemed to mind. This is the perfect place to practice driving in reverse
