Recently changed to Pub 55 - The new look is right up my ally! My family & I love going to Pub 55 for dinner, and music! The outdoor Patio is one of the nicest around, and the food is always excellent! My son loves the wraps, and I am a fan of the alfredo! What bar in Wisconsin has Alfredo as a staple?! Not many! The food always tastes fresh, and the service is always great.
Service was acceptable after we made them aware of our presence for the second time. That is the fisherman's platter that we split. Portion size was tremendous. The fish was very tasty, the coleslaw and fries not so much but we each brought food home.. well worth the $28... I will definitely return in the future.Food: 4/5
First time there. Place looked awesome and will be returning in the summer for the awesome patio. I was disappointed in the food. My husband and I both got burgers. Mine was the pepper Jack on Texas toast and my husband just a regular cheeseburger and both were very bland. I was expecting a lot more. Could have used more seasoning. My daughter loves cheese curds and I tried some of them and they were well over done. I bit in to a few and the cheese was no where to be found because of them being over cooked. So bites of breading it was. Service was great though and place is very cute. Will definitely be going back to try something else on the menu and enjoy the drinks/seating options.
Gave it a try today as part of Restaurant Week. We thought it was pretty good. The soup, chili, tenderloin wraps & cheesecake were all good. I did feel like something was missing when there were no chips or fries served with the wrap. Overall, it was a good experience.
The bar selection is great with a regular rotation of local breweries and other domestic taps. Servers are prompt and friendly, food is good. The place can be big and cold when it's not their busy time, I find the barstools very uncomfortable, but I like to sit at the bar so I deal with it. I feel like I'm sliding out of the seat the whole time.
Went from a bar that loved to introduce new and interesting beer to a bar that, quite literally, couldn’t tell me what beer they were pouring. Prices are also quite high. Food was good, but they really need to get their bartenders educated on, at a minimum, the name of the beers they have behind the bar.
Did a packer bus ride that this business set up. Be warned, beer they provided was mainly expired and non alcoholic. They quickly ran out even before we left. Definitely wasn't any on the way back. Also they advertised we would leave 1 hour after the game ended. Did not happen as we waited way too long for certain irresponsible and childish people that can't read a clock. I know this isn't the bus driver's fault, but you should just set a time and leave no matter what. We got back pretty late and the bar was closed so nobody could go in. Would not recommend their packer bus ride, wish I could get a refund.
Upped my review based on the new business. Staff was great. Food was good. Only hitch was that they played too much country music. Will go again. Thanks.
Food was COLD!! Ordered it for pickup at 5:30. Received a text at 5:00 saying our food was ready. Well we obviously couldn't get there right at that time and wasn't expecting it to be done 30 minutes early. I asked when we got there if it was actually done at 5:00 and if our food would be fresh. They assured me it wasn't done that soon and that it was still hot. I should have went with my gut feeling and had it all remade. I can see being done a little bit early as they weren't overly busy but 30 minutes is a long time to let food sit. So much for that $100+ spent.
We have visited several time in the past several years with good service and food, but on our last visit it was terrible. Noone behind the bar and only 2 servers to take orders, which were in the kitchen more than out serving. It took over 10 minutes to be asked if we wanted something to drink, just for them to walk away and not return. After several more minutes, finally got my drink and a menu. After about 15 minutes, with my beer gone and with noone asking to take our order, we tried to asked for the bill. First we were ignored, then when we were finally able to get a staff member to stop and acknowledge we were there, we were told I would have to wait. The server was extremely rude. When she did come back, they could not find me in the system for my beer and just threw some price out there for it. This was the worst service we have had enywhere. Also, the guy sitting a couple seats away never recieved service the whole time we were there and several others had already left.
