Thanks for the awesome donuts, we loved them. We also enjoyed them at family events as well. Can't wait to come back again and again. Also ate all the donuts we bought in two days, ok maybe 3 days but still so yummy. Can't wait to try the coffee/hot chocolate mugs.
Made a day out of shopping in Calmar from Edmonton. Stopped in at the Calmar bakery to sample their donuts, bread, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. You won't be disappointed! We enjoyed the old fashion glaze and sprinkle donuts. The bread was fresh and froze well. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I'd highly recommend.
Stopped here to grab a dozen donuts and so happy I did! It seemed like it was lined up constantly and I can see why because the donuts are awesome! The staff were friendly and fast and their prices are very good for the quality! Would definitely recommend this place if your looking for some fresh baked, local, delicious goods.
Donuts are traditional style, yummy and so fresh. Recommend to go in the morning. There maybe lineup. One time we went around 1 pm and it's all sold out. We tried the chocolate chip cookies as well. Simple and tasty.
I love the fresh yummy donuts, I get them in the morning and they are still warm! My favorites are the apple fritters. AMAZING! If I don’t feel like donuts , I try their fudge or other many treats! Nothing like their fresh baked bread which I prefer because it’s preservative free! Girls behind the counter are friendly and care about their customers! I call ahead because the donuts can go fast, that just tells you that their good Can have coffee and sit for a chat too!
Excellent donuts! Love the cinnamon sugar. They also have drip coffee which is excellent. All the people that have helped me have been absolutely amazing and kind. Will continue to go back here often.
Hands down the best doughnuts in Alberta? I grew up in Calmar and will make the drive from wherever I am living in the GEA to get some. The original owners are no longer around but nothing has changed . Best to go in the morning when they are fresh and while they still have your favourites in stock.
Simply the best! My dad's supported them for as long as I can remember and whenever we are passing through I'm sure to stop to load up on donuts and pastry too
The treats are amazing! Had an apple filled donut and there was enough apples for an entire pie! So delicious! Will definitely go back again!
The best donuts ever! trying out the fresh pizza dough next! Excellent service and excellent baked goods.
