Great place to camp - sites are big and most very well treed. Fishing is great, we catch our daily limit which is 1 for walleye within an hour. The water is calm in the morning and night during our stay so we can paddle with kayaks and canoe.
Camping is great as long as you are not in the higher numbered sites they have little tree cover and a very open. The are fish toilets available. Boat launch is very busy, easiest to launch early in the day and load later in the evening. Lots of sandy areas to wade into the water/he the paddle board. Late Une and fishing was amazing!
Great place to fish and enjoy time on the water. Boat launch can get busy and theres a small dock. Camp sites have power but can be tough to navigate into in some lots. You can call someone to bring you firewood if you have cash.
Pickeral fishing is fantastic. The only downside at this time of year at least is the lake is pea soup. Full of algae.
Beautiful campground! We were here in June, the fishing was great, the weather not so much but we didn't care. This campground was well maintained and looked after, excellent fish cleaning stations. Since covid restrictions were still in place at the time we were unable to access the bathrooms but the outhouses were very clean.
Wonderful campsite, great fishing
A beautiful place and one of my favorite lakes in Alberta
Beautiful lake with beaches, great fishing just a great place to stay.
We had a reservation at the campground a week and a half ago. Just before we got there, we learned our site was overbooked. Angie was on the draw, and arranged the best site ever for us in the day use area of the memorial park close by, complete with security and all the firewood we needed! It was literally the best camping I have done in AB. All the staff were awesome! Thanks again!
Clean lake, great for fishing. Campground was nice with few facilities available or open. Pit toilets only which could have been attended to a bit better. We did kayak and paddle board but very few places to launch.
